ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

*Toybiz heads were probably too small anatomically. some of the Hasbro heads are bigger than they should be, but on average they’re a lot closer to actual human anatomy than Toybiz’s were.*

It looks like he's made mostly from retooled vintage black panther parts. I'm so happy he's pinless tho. Mine should be showing up any day now!!! As well as my yelena. I'm really looking forward to almost every figure in this wave except the orb and the baf.

That's body mold is older actually by a few years now. Was used for the earlier prowler and the comic book version of Black Panther with the pinkish deco. Love that mold but I wish it had butterfly joints.

Toybiz head sculpt were more accurate to the way the human anatomy truly is. And when it was not it was more creative. Later on after the 90s Then Hasbro. When they made good figures . And more sculpted. Then Hasbro's. But This Baron stroker reminds me of that. Type of toybiz type of head sculpt a bit This is actually a good old body mold. With pinless joints this may be one of the best figure. Close to the Wonder man . Inn the wave. But still doesn't beat the toybiz version. It's more articulation and the it's shoulder is wider like it should be the upper torso should be wider like the toybiz version baron strucker making it's head look smaller like a real person . But I really like this Baron stroker . A lot .

I got him loose and without the baf piece. I'll eventually buy the baf if I end up wanting it. I haven't played with him much yet. I got him with Orb too!!!! He's so dope. They both are. I can't wait until my son and I play with them this weekend 🤗. I also got Stryfe, Zero, and the Blob incoming. I also bought Viper. She's an older figure, but idgaf! I like her, and she can hang with the rest of the Hydra soldiers and Red Skull to pose with.

I like his body in general, I wish we had a version of him with a normal hand though. The monocle is great, I just wish the scars weren't as noticeable, in that regard, I prefer the old one

I can t believe this is 10 months old, I just got him on clearance $25 Can tax in he looks great, I already have Madamme Hydra and cube red skull, now I d like troopers! yeah, I m with you bro... why can t he grab any weapons? ok, I don t know the guy, perhaps he does nt needs weapons, but I d like that. a second set of hands would be.... handy! man, we really need extra hands sold loose! red skull, retro iron man, and others... they have no grip hands at all, it sucks assets! check on this bro, we sure would love to know where to get extra hands. since there s no troops, they ll have to join Cobra and when they do... they ll fight Cobra or anybody else, I love many factions for scripts - stories. so now you know... good show bro

I'm so sick of seeing these windowless boxes, its anti advertising the product, killing the need to buy multiple because i wanted to display them in their boxes, keeping them clean and worth buying extra. but it will stop next year as their sales drop heavy 30-40%. yes we still buy them but far less, due to blind worthless cardboard.

Sometimes I think heads look a bit oversized especially when it comes to mezco but also every now and then I'll look at people and realize people in general have big heads.

Cap's head still looks fine to me and he also has hair and a mask as opposed to just a bald head. People also have different sized heads for the record. Just saying. Strucker should have had an option without the satan claw. Toybjz proportions were completely wack mkst of the time.

I was excited for this one for a second until I realized the yellows (edit: and greens!) don't match the old Hydra soldiers. This guy won't fit into my Hydra display with his bright-yellow highlights (edit: and bright green jumpsuit!). :/

Definite upgrade! I’ve been collecting since the Toybiz days, but I always make an effort to reject nostalgia and remain as objective as possible. With all due respect to my fellow collectors, I think nostalgia clouds the judgement of people who claim that Toybiz figures are better. 95% of those figures look terrible by 2023 standards. The extra paint doesn’t come close to making up for the bad proportions, outdated articulation schemes, and bad headsculpts (especially Toybiz’s atrocious female heads)

I agree. I try to pick the best version of a character in my collection, and there are few instances in which I found that to be a Toybiz figure (Pyro, Hulk, and Leader). Even if, overall, I like Toybiz more (due to my love of their gimmicky figures from the 90's-early 2000s), Hasbro just makes better proportions and details in average

@@marcinjurek9520 That’s fine if you disagree (although I don’t think the juvenile attempt at witty insults is necessary). But as a longtime collector, I genuinely stand by everything I said. Hasbro is miles better than Toybiz. Again, the greater quantity of paint apps doesn’t come close to compensating for the disgusting anatomy and outdated articulation schemes on most of those old Toybiz figures

I've wanted a Strucker figure for a while and for a long time the old Strucker was pricey. Toybiz is a mixed bag by today's standards. Some of those figures hold up very well decades later while some look bad. The first Captain America they made was over articulated to a point he could not stand. The paint apps is where they really win over Hasbro. In the beginning Hasbro figures were inferior to Toybiz but that was a long time ago. Hasbro wins on body proportions most of the time now.
