Mike, you're a great teacher. I love the simplicity of your explanations but at the same time you hit all the right details without any fluff. I wrote software reviews way back in the mid '80's when the Mac first came out and always attempted to do what you do. Keeping it simple. I've already subscribed and am going to work my way through your back catalog, because I am certain I will learn something new in each one. Thanks again. Great job!!!

Thank you so much. You inspire me to begin to take an eye to the iMovie/GarageBand/Keynote apps on my mac. I will stay here for more videos, and rewind and play again all the stuff you have in your channel.

the fact that it's possible to add your movie to garage garage band all has huge implications if all my theories work! If I were to try stuff I reccon I could make incredible stories!! I think that you did a great job of scaratching the serfice and letting us know it's possible

Awesome as always 😊Personally I’d direct viewers straight to the plugin presets because anyone who can improve on them probably won’t need this video. And use the loop function to A/B alternative settings or on/off over exactly the same audio.

Great video, MIke! Thanks. I'm wondering if GarageBand is more useful than iMovie when adding music tracks to a video project?

Can you import any video, meaning not made with imovie, into garageband and obtain similar results?
@MacVideoMagic4 ай бұрын
Any video, as long as QuickTime Player can play it.

I’m wondering if the noise from recording in the wind can be reduced or removed using GarageBand.
@MacVideoMagic4 ай бұрын
Give it a try with the Noise Gate.
@JandeBloois19524 ай бұрын
The noise that wind causes in the microphone(s) are mostly low frequencies, so rule them out in the way that is told here. Off course best is to NOT record this sound, by using a good windshield for your mic (a so-called 'dead cat'). And use headphones while recording. Not using a headphone when recording audio is about the same as filming with your eyes closed!

Hello! I recently finished a Dutch eBook about iMovie, called (translated) 'iMovie in a nutshell'. Then I saw your great tutorial, so I added six pages, some screenshots, and off course a link to your tutorial! I hope you don't mind! I
