I appreciate very much your method of teaching. A lot of teachers go too quickly. You understand that new ideas have to be gradually assimilated. You go at the right speed. Excellent.

Hey Michael. Just wanted to say thank you for all the tips and tricks you’ve shown me the last few months. The doubling trick just really helped me out. I’m having a blast making these videos and you definitely get some credit for my increase in my production quality. Thanks again sir. I hope you have a wonderful day Scott

I listened with headphones and as you say... I couldn't tell a lot of difference in most of the clips. I've been trying to clean up bad audio from a wedding and it doesn't help at all. I even tried to do it in Capcut and DaVinci which I have little experience with and simply cannot fix the poor acoustics of the venue. Thanks for the video... I was thinking it must be something I was not doing.

all good information. So many videos have the music too loud while speaking and it takes away from their content.

Aside from iMovie, which other tool would you recommend to adjust the sound of a video? Specifically to reduce the echo effect.

Start with the one you already have. GarageBand is very powerful tool

@MacVideoMagic Hi Michael. Love your videos. My M1 Pro MacBook Pro's resolution is 3456x2234. 1) How can I record a 1080p 30fps or 60fps video recording without messing up the resolution? 2) Is it possible to create a 4k recording with this screen? I haven't found a decent solution for this and keeps annoying me a lot. Your help would be much appreciated.

Hi Micheal, I’m sitting here trying to edit and you’re the only person I can think of it could possibly help me 🙏🏾 I’m editing audio in iMovie and it keeps cutting off the last few seconds of the audio file that I import even though the original file is full and whole. Any idea why it keeps truncating the last few seconds of the audio file upon import into the editting timeline (not into the “clips holder”) I’ve even tried making the audio file longer and extending the music out so that it cuts off in the music instead of the vocals, but still doing the same thing… Not even sure you’ll get this message 😭 any idea why 🤔

I’ve been exporting the files as an MP3. Maybe I need to try a WAV file instead?

Why doesn't background noise reduction start immediately on the clip? I have a delay of like 1-2 seconds before it kicks in.
@MacVideoMagic6 күн бұрын
Not sure. What does it sound like in the exported video? Could just be lag in real-time preview.
@hamingjafoundation6 күн бұрын
@@MacVideoMagic I actually think I hear it in your video too, that the effect doesn't kick in immediately. It sounds the same in my exported video.
@MacVideoMagic6 күн бұрын
@hamingjafoundation I suspect it needs a little time to analyze the noise before kicking in. Will have to look into it. In the meantime, depending on the audio in your clip, you could try lowering the volume of the clip at the beginning, until the effect kicks in.
