I did this in my 2022 Sport. What a pain! I wish I would have found your video before I started. The amount of material that has to be removed to access a wearable item is extreme. I would think Honda would have put in a decent speaker to begin with but they chose one of the cheapest speaker possible. However, end result with my car, complete two amps and subs, is amazing. I am very impressed with your sound deadening. I added some but not nearly to the extent you did. Nice work!

Bro I dont understand why they made this ish so dificult just to remove the Rear spearkers. This is nuts. but thank you for watching. this sound derening for the rear made such a diferent that i was also surprised. FUY I did added an amp as well and the sound is even better.. now I can control everything . Thanks again for watching.

I have a 2020 accord sport and i was an installer 20yrs ago and i dont miss it especially in these new cars. That was a lot of work for some 6 1/2 rear speakers! Lol

Yes these Speakers are both 6.5 for front and Rear. so yes we bought 2 set for front or Rear.

I bough then through crutchfield as well. Ask them for all that you need . Get some sound deadening and some speakers rings or they are also called fast rings and the rest sound be fairly straightforward.

bro im about to thange my rear speakers only with no amp. just plug and play with the factory amp. i was wondering whether it is worth it or not. also would it be fine to only change the rear speakers for now? im afraid of hearing a slight difference in audio between front and rear. would like to hear an answer. thank you for the video much help.

Well yes those speakers are better then the Stock you will Hear a difference in sound. Definitely clearer better heights better mods and better bass as well. When I changed all 4 speakers it sounded really good. But the head unit cannot power the speakers properly. So you are not doing them justice. But the sound will definitely be better.

Im pretty Sure it’s for satellite radio or the AM/FM radio module/ antenna. It come with the car.

Why do you guys put sound dampening?

Because we have a 12" Subwoofer box going into the trunk and it was rattling like crazy. So we added it to stop the rattling. After that I never heard the rattling again, so it was a success.

Thank you for the content. It is very informative and straight to the point. I’ve watched many videos and they usually not good quality video or the angle isn’t good so following instructions gets tricky, etc. your videos are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. I’m normally able to figure stuff out on my own with old cars and newer cars get complex. I was stumped with this car. I found your video and was like “really Honda? Really? Anywho,I knocked out quickly and loving the new speakers I put in. 🙌🏼

These speakers with what I did sounds pretty good. The radio of the Honda is also under powered so the speakers are really not getting the proper power they need to perform perfectly when I added the Amp they sounded so much better.
