Hello AJ, you are right, at least 50mph and probably closer to 60+mph with the right hull and this motor, esc, battery combo setup properly, is what you would expect from a prop drive setup. The differences between a prop and a jet are significant, so are the ways that you use them. This jet for example procuces over 11 pounds of thrust (far more than you would ever get from a prop boat with the same motor/esc/bat), this is enough to lift the boat vertically by a force factor of over 2x it's own weight and very close to 3x. This allows the boat to accelerate explosively, something that is needed when you are navigating white water rappids where the pump only hooks up periodically and the boat leaps from point to point up the current navigating rocks. These boats are really fun anywhere and offer advantages due to their manuverability and their ruggedness, but they are really made for rivers and streams and extreme manuverabilty, not top straight line speed. This boat is amazing. They totally nailed it, smooth as butter, self righting, pumping the water out so quickly, jet engine to go in shallow water. I think I found my first RC boat: the SteamlineRC Thrasher. I love the color, awesome paintjob!

Was at Lake minnewanka this past weekend and took my proboat there I flipped it over, a couple of nice guys on their boat who were just leaving the dock went and fetched it for me but by the time they got to it, the cover of my boat was gone 😭 it was a sad day haha. But now I have an excuse to get the thrasher! Will never have to worry about that again with its self righting feature and new pump. I was already sold on the V1 of the Thrasher but literally just saw this video on the V2 and it’s over... lol she will be mine! 😁 Thanks for your videos! I can never stop smiling while I watch them. I am so amazed with your channel, you have a gift my friend. Seeing that green thrasher climb a dam was unbelievable, what a boat, but it takes a good operator also. I got hooked on RC a FEW years ago when our speed controllers were wire wound resistors with a wiper, to change frequencies crystals were swapped, technology has changed so much. You should have painted it a hot pink or a fuchsia I think that would look awesome and really bright on the water. Really great boat! Awesome driving! I kinda wanted it to be a little quicker on the fast water... and then the second location rippin I was impressed again. It looks like it handles like a dream with bilge maintenance a huge feature! Again the paint looks outstanding. What's not to like? Perfect for the person that's tried everything but a watercraft and knows their way around trucks and planes.

That's unbelievable how much power that thing has! You can just see how hard that water was rushing, of course it took several tries to get up/through but still. You should have flipped it purposely in the pond, I thought it was pretty cool watching it fill up then suddenly self right.

Thrashers are nearly impossible to flip on smooth water. Full speed turns will spin into a 360 but it is very tought to force the boat to flip even at top speed due to how the boat is ballanced and the hull design. These boats will only normally end up upside down in white water chop or after being airborne.
