Nobody should buy a fan without rubber frame or mountings. Trust me. It will give you a headache if you are noise sensitive. These fans are beautiful but I would highly suggest investing in Silent Wings 4 (regular, not the High-speed or pro)

rubber frame or not, rifle-bearing fans in general are poor choice if you're really sensitive to noise. both these and Pure Wings 3 I installed in my case were absolutely terrible and outright headache-inducing at certain RPM ranges to the point where it ended up being the main factor in how I adjusted my fan curves - until I eventually got tired of it and ditched them both. early versions of P12 Max also suffered from this before Arctic quietly ditched the rifle-bearing for fluid ones.

@@srn7254 the quietest fan from be quiet were the Silent Wings 3 (non high speed). I have two 140mm of them and they are basically the same sound as if they were in the cupboard at 650rpm. I know it isn't a high rpm but it moves enough air in a small case

I literally have a case filled with 10 of these fans between LX 120 and the old light wings 140mm and they're dead silent, and I am noise sensitive, so I don't really know what to tell y'all If you are to that level of sensitivity, noctuas with rubber beads at low rpm might be your only way to go
