The ONN streaming device has become one of the more popular budget devices on the market. Today I will be showing you how to re pair the remote if it is no longer connected. There is actually a number of different trouble shooting techniques we can try. More then likely, one of these will work.

thanks man, i lost my remote for one of my Onn 4k boxes and this def did the trick. i was able to temp borrow a remote from another box, get this one setup and then config it to use a harmony hub

You only need to tap the button on the box to enter pairing. If you hold for 10 seconds, you will wipe & factory reset the box. I know this from personal experience!

This is great UGT! I still have one of these old ONN "Android TV" boxes on one TV in my den and though it's not as snappy as the box that came out after - Or I'm sure the 4k pro - it still works really well! They've fixed the remote issue with an update. I was shocked, because I thought after the Google TV box was released this box would lack support. But ONN is really solid. And it's not like a sketchy off brand box that *may* contain malware and offer no support after a while (Beelink, Buzz, etc. while those boxes may get you by for a bit, they become paperweights after a while...). Anyway, this ONN brand is really good. If one lives in the US it's a great priced and very reliable tv box.

This will work for about 10 minutes and mine goes out again. Only happens in the evening about the same time. No idea what it is. I’ve changed batteries, repaired, I’m down to buying a new box. Had zero issues for 2 years and this has started with in the last 2 weeks.

Looks like I'm going to have to buy a new box. I changed batteries and then did the pairing and still NOTHING when I press the home button. I press one of the four buttons and somehow they appear, press the home or back 🔙 button then the screen goes black. I'm calling ONN to find out what the hell is going on...🤔🤔🤔

If you can't get your remote to work at all and you want to do a factory reset, do this: Unplug it. . There's a small button somewhere on the box. . Either beside the HDMI port or the power port. . Hold down that button, and keep it pressed. . Then plug it back in while you are holding it. . You will see a menu screen pop up. . . Release the button. . Then use that button to select Factory Reset. One you select Factory Reset, hold down the button again and it'll perform the rest
