Should replace the brakes with Avid BB7. World of difference, easier to adjust pads. Been through much of you went through on my 2016 Rover. Went through platform SPD pedals as the Velcro heel slings were unreliable. Swapped out the SA8 hub for a NuVinci n380 hub, and had an Efneo 3 Speed hub up front. Efneo was a game changer for me. They can be bought for half price now as e-motors are winning the competitiveness and they are selling their remaining stock as they are going out of business. A keeping mine in case I get another trike. Am running a Bafang M625 for its slower build-up a speed like a normal trike. Can get 30 miles per battery. Have another battery to mount to the frame to give me 60 miles of range. Noticed you removed the lower chain tubes. Interesting.

Really enjoyed your insight, I've got one of these square frame recumbents, pain in the rear every bit of it is. My rear spindle holder is now nearly non existent.

Good info. Subscribed. Questions ... you mentioned issues with the rim (wheels), which wheel/rim have you found to work the best? We are interested in this bike but we'll be commuting with it and it needs to stand up to some beating. Eager to learn. Thx.

Really like to see this! My son Benji is ASD he and I discovered our love of biking as something to do during covid. We currently put up 5-30 miles in a trip and are out 3 times a week. Do you think a terra trike rover is for us? Im interested in better comfort for me me and benji is 6 now and almost to big for the Weehoo. My concern is he wont reach the pedals and wants to pedal at different speeds. This looks like great options for us concerned its to big for him and maybe not as manuverable as we are used to. From the looks of it you've had to do lots of repairs how many miles have you put on it? Great review its what ive been after

Do not know what you mean by fast this recumbent tandem will barely do 15 miles an hour at its fastest with current tires! I have one and my upgrades was a Metropolis front internal 2 speed plus a manual 8 speed rear I think it is a 11-34 8sp so I can ship on the fly! Terricycle makes a standup double water bottle holder that’s goes up front, plus I have custom water bottle holders on back of the seats! I also have a canvas foldable trailer for hauling parts lunch and other accessories! I use this tandem for rehab patients or people with disabilities that want to get out and use the bike trail! I have independent peddling in the back also in case they can not peddle and just want to be out and enjoy the ride! You can older heavy duty from rims with 36 spokes for strength! Checking bolts and regular maintenance should catch any issues before they come a problem! Keep riding seems your son really enjoys it! Get rubber shrink wrap to put on your flag stems so it is a tight fit! Ride on! 👍🤪👍

I watched your video with great interest. I bought a tag along for my daughter years ago and I also had a "Fun Rider" seat on the straight bar in front of me and my youngest would sit on it, harnessed in and connected to me while my older daughter rode the tag along behind. We had a great time exploring many of the biking trails in our area. I went to the Terra Trike website (Didn't they use to be called Wiz Wheels?) Anyway, I could not find a side by side Terra Trike Rover. Was it just the angle of the photography that made it look like you and your son were riding side by side? Or did you actually have a side by side? I am intrigued... For a long time I drooled over the ZEM (4-Person bicycle from Switzerland). I imagined the whole family riding down the bike trails together. I even managed to track one down in Florida and on our family vacation to Disney Land we detoured over to see it and test ride it. Unfortunately it did not perform like I had imagined it would. It was much heavier and harder to pedal and I was quite disappointed to say the least. But I am glad I had a chance to test ride one before I plunked down the money to purchase one. I am now a few years out from retirement and looking at purchasing an RV. We plan to explore the U.S. as a family (My oldest daughter is disabled with cerebral palsy and will be coming with us). I am interested in finding or building a cycle that the three of us could ride together. Or possibly have 2 cycles. One for my wife with electric assist and one for me and my daughter. What we are riding in this video isn’t a TerraTrike, it as actually a PPV. images.app.goo.gl/kBLnCWBj3BUJsWJe8 The TerraTrike is in a traditional tandem set-up of one behind the other. The PPV is fun but not geared well for long rides. I wish it was easier because I too like the side by side set up.
