Upgrades & Mods For The MN99s Version 2

Some explanation on the upgrades and mods done to the MN99s Version 2. Before this, I also put some solder wires on all the wheels.
After this was done, I took it for a test drive. I am quite impressed with the performance. However, all good things come to an end. The rear plastic driveshaft broke. Usually, I upgraded this part first but no metal option was available for the time being. The driveshafts are shorter than the MN78, MN82 and MN168 since it is a short wheelbase model.

Do you put oil filled shocks in? Or just friction?

@KwaadRC101 Just friction shocks. I put o-rings in them and greased them a bit. Less bouncy. Out of the box, there is no dampening at all.

Can the motor be upgraded?

Yes, the motor can be upgrade. Just search on any online store for the upgrades. Most of the upgrades for the MN78, MN82 and MN168 will fit with this model with the exception of the drive shafts. Fyi, this model has a shorter wheelbase than the other MNs mentioned. However there are metal drive shafts available for it. Thanks for watching.

I think it is possible cause the mounting system is identical with the older model.
