To deal with the catapults and heavy clubbers, level three ballista towers focus fire on those kinds of heavy units, have very long range and lots of damage. One ballista tower is often better then several level two towers when those enemies are inbound because those kinds of enemies tend to rapidly turn several level two towers into NO level two towers.

To be fair, it's a broken mechanic, the mines income does not diminish as it should.

Even though it seemed like a limited amount of gold, runs don't last that many rounds anyway. Regular houses make deceptively less than you think they do. You're basically investing 5 gold to get 21 gold, meaning a 16 gold profit, with most of the gold coming almost immediately.

Yes that is easily doable I finished with all upgrades and 135 left over last round. with every building maxed out. start the game if you take Arcane towers = more tower damage and Castle Blueprints = towers and walls have more health start by building 2 goldmines + 1 tower + 1 windmill agro the horses to you while the tower kils them by poking them with a spear running circles. the round after that you buy spears and the other goldmine and spend the rest on windmills + fields. after that buy the castle upgrade and buy the upgrade that upgrades 1 house for free each turn. if you build at least one house each turn you will have optimal value. Economy early game is really powerful.

RCE, you can use your king for melee attack. Even if you may die sometimes, you will be revived. Also crossbows are better. Also build some ballista towers. Don't play like an architect.

Yeah the Trick is to handle the first 2-3 attacks yourself or with just 1 tower to slow enemies down in the 3rd attack so everything else can go to making money

This is where being an engineer can hurt you, as a nuclear engineer “2+2=100” because of the size of the safety margins 😆 Whereas everyone else is fine with “2+2=4” and doesn’t worry 😂 It’s usually best to invest in economy earlier, as some of the waves were easily handled without 😁 I really love this game, I haven’t played it yet but I’ve seen a few videos by now…I’m looking forward to giving it a go 👍

The coin upgrade mechanics remind me of Kingdom Two Crowns, which I can only recomment if they dicount the whole bundle for 10 dollars. Fun, but low replayability. It was way overpriced back then, updates' worth material sold as full price "sequel".
