It’s top 10 best. It’s always a 1 shot to the head when max upgraded, so if you have deadshot it’s broken. It also wrecks the Megaton, especially with the new tier 5 pistol class upgrade and tier 5 deadshot

Fun fact: AUG is an acronym standing for “Armee-Universal-Gewehr” originally named the STG 77 since it’s the successor to the STG 44 STG standing for “Sturmgewehr” the Sturmgewehr was the successor to the Gewehr 43 and was full auto hence the name “Assault rifle”. (rough German translation I barely speak the language) it also has a progressive trigger (on the military models used by the Austrians and the Australians) meaning that pulling the trigger back slightly is single shot pulling it back all the way being full-auto (while cool it sucks because if somebody doesn’t know about it they’ll probably think the trigger is really heavy and just rip it back all the way and probably hurt themselves select-fire is basically dummy proof and that’s the reason it’s the standard)

The harder rounds get, the better chance that you get a better rarity of a weapon. if you watched noahj456's video on when information was first given out about this he explains it a little bit or at least what he thinks and eventually it became the exact case. Better weapon rarities begin to appear more often during higher rounds.

The MP5 costs 1500 off the wall, so yes he got it cheaper by spinning the box for 950. He was still spinning for box exclusive weapons, so he didn’t “waste” all those points specifically going for the MP5. That’s why you hit the box until you get all the box-only guns and THEN go for wall guns. If you happen to get a few wall guns while spinning for the other guns, you save money on those wall guns

when you hit round 30 your guns tier will almost always be legendary keep in mind the rarity of the gun goes up each round so for example round 17-23 would be more Epic tier-based or lower than legendary and in the low rounds don't expect legendary rarity or the ray gun at all hope this helps :)
