Since we filmed this, I have added smoke vent holes to the pink & green inserts. Soon I will be adding inner panels for the doors, metal door arms, vector plates sized for the HasLab and hopefully a truly loud speaker upgrade with the help of Mel Ho!

Good to see you back Sean ! I always love your projects.

It was mentioned by Sean here but having his rear plate really does make a massive difference when installing either the Linrose light adapter or a whole real Linrose light. It's so much easier to do when you don't have to shave down the fake trim ring on the trap body! Also thank you for answering the question about the latching mechanism on the Linrose skirt; I was one of those who wondered why you hadn't done it that way, so very cool seeing my question answered! You rock! Thanks for all you do for the GB community!

Love listening to Sean discuss the things he's passionate about. And this video has "vintage" Tested vibes.

Found a 2018 trap at a thrift shop a few years ago, $5! Still works! It’s goofy and janky but I love it 😍

I purchased all the parts for the 3D-printed version that you put together a few years back. I had so much fun putting that all together and it turned out AMAZING ... thanks to all the time you spent to source everything so accurately. U DA MAN! These upgrades are a great idea as well

I have no interest in any of this, but I love how totally into this they are! I love it when someone gets completely obsessed with something. Even when I have 0 interest in it.

Back in the '80s I worked Security at a Federal facility and in the Dispatch office there was a huge 1970s-era ADT console that ran on relays. I remember throwing at least 10 of them away every week because the contacts would go bad. What was I thinking?!

You don't need to insert screws into the plugs to get them out. Just use a thin and long philips head, they reach the screws through the plug. That's why they have holes.

You don't need any soldering to change the bar graph direction. You can just lift up the plastic clips (being careful) and rearrange the LED wires.

I would love to do the switch and hat light swaps. I am just terrified when it comes to mods like those. If it is not a "drop-in" or cosmetic mod via vinyl, I am bound to break something.

are you going to do an upgrade build video?

Yes! The plan is to do a full upgrade with Adam.

I don't want to sound too harsh on the scale of the trap - it's very close to the actual Afterlife trap. It's just off by a bit in enough dimensions that certain labels, etc don't fit quite right. Overall they did a great job.

I added about 4oz of weight (with adhesive tire weights) to my pedal because it just feels a bit too light to feel 'real'

@18:50 where do you get the side knobs to work w/ the GBfans side plates? I got the full metal kit, but I can’t figure out how to get the knobs off the two plastic side plates. Are the HasLab stock knobs only compatible w/ the original stock plastic side plates? What knobs work w/ the GBfans side plates?

How about doing an episode on the regal ghost traps that more people were able to purchase, would be more useful for more people than the more expensive limited run trap.
@CworthDynamics12 күн бұрын
Maybe one for the Spirit Halloween trap!

@CworthDynamics yeah it would be nice seeing you guys show ways of in improving the more commonly accessible stuff verses the exclusive or high dollar stuff that's already pretty darn good. 😅

Man this video is not entirely accurate. First, the Haslab trap is identical in terms of molds and connecting pieces to the trap Ben Eadie sent to members of the Afterlife crew in 2019 that YHS also received. You can tell by the circular details on the bottom of both side plates. It's identical in terms of construction, size, knob sizes, etc. So what Tested is saying isn't entirely accurate. The knobs are not this size to accomodate electronics. They are identical to Ben Eadie's crew trap.
