Upgrading His PC with 5800X3D, 4070 Ti, & Fractal North

I've been planning out an SFF build with my 5800X3D. Hopefully, the 4080 Super won't be outrageously costly. If it is, I'm using a 4070 Ti too.

@@6800XT Oh that's exciting! SFFs are so much fun. There's rumors CES will have more details about the new super cards. If Nvidia can increase performance, decrease the length, and price them right they will be a huge hit. Let's hope the 4080S is SFF friendly.

Yeah seriously. It was heating up his whole room. It doesn't get that cold in Texas so that was def an issue.

5800x3D is a beast . The fact that amd put that on am4 is still crazy . Chip can even pair with a 4080 and be straight

ur friend's pc is weird tho. who doesnt put fans on the front. this build looks around gtx gen too. i own those nzxt case but front solid has a big gap in it i know lol

I believe that case only comes with the one fan in the back. There should have been fans in the front though after the fact. The air wasn't circulating properly to begin with.

3080TI 12GB vs 4070TI 12GB doesn't worth to upgrade it. The gain is minimal. The big gain would be with a 4070TI Super 16GB.

Both are great cards. It comes down to DLSS 3 and power/heat efficiency. The 4070ti wins in those regards.
