Fyi I bought was looking at arashi turbos before I decided on getting a kinugawa. They are both Taiwanese companies and while I think they make solid turbos, I don’t believe they legitimately fit their turbos for the applications. The td05-18g kinugawa I purchased looks very similar to this one. I believe they just modify and build the housings to fit certain flange patterns and sell them but don’t actually test fit them to a engine. I had to fabricate a bracket for my waste gate, clock it the other way around, and mess with the actuator arm angle. I was able to keep the hard coolant line in place. As for the coolant lines going in and out of the turbo, I had to modify those slightly and swap from the open sides and utilize the plugged sides. Overall I think they are good turbos, but after spending like 5-6 hours messing around with brackets and welding parts, I think it’s worth paying extra for a gturbo because it’ll bolt right in and has a very proven track record.

I think they changed the design. I just looked it up and it looks different and also that it could fit. Or maybe iam just dumb. Pls tell me they changed it xD
