power off then stomp the grate if theres lots of bs when the grate goes down the engine suction just sucks that bs right in saves the impeller ive personally built 12 of these and worked on 1000s of jet boats im a propulsion specialist. oh yea seats i liked polaris Rzr or general seats waterproof buckets and they make all kinds of colors cheers long time watcher here.

Keep a lil thing of 3m spray glue in the boat! I’ve done like 20 mat kits & eventually the corners will start to peel a bit (at least w fiberglass hulls), I just grab some glue n spray em & slam them back down.

You should make your new windshield multiple pieces. Hinge at bottom and pins in the corners. Pull pins fold down front and sides similar to a jeep.

My impeller wear ring is worn out. If you just floor it coming on plane goes strait to limiter the fastest way to get on plane is to feather it. If you see video when I’m driving faster flowy turns it’s steady throttle. I need to replace the wear ring.
