@@petespeedsxp4967 Not really. Not all modifiers have the same amount of tiers. A mod with 15 tiers should not get the same treatment as one with 6 or 8. I also believe highlighting it should be implemented, since the game knows what mod is going to be replaced (it's deterministic)

Nah. It says lowest level. So it clearly works as intended. Highlighting would be good but I hope they don’t change it to work with tier so we can continue to use it for removing those dead lower level mods like Thorns which is dead even when it’s the highest tier roll and it’s still a lower level mod than most good mods. The guy lost t8 life sure. But the biggest life rolls are like t13

Yea you can go out of bounds with blink, just blink anywhere outside the layout, once outside you can only manouver with blink, walking doesnt work anymore until you are in the regular Zone again

i have 300 hours in spark sorc and watch all the theorycrafters but never seen the shock siphon gem . Its a freakin game changer . Also going down to icebreaker and your other talent tweaks are amazing . Finally my build feels complete . I tried everything , went up to 100k spark but was falling over randomly so many times . Losing some dam for these defensives is totally worth it , sorc is very weak to freeze and stun . You are a legend !

Well, it says lowest level modifier, not lowest tier modifier. It may be more difficult to know which one it is going to remove but it’s actually kinda stronger this way because it will more often hit those dead mods like thorns

You might want to add that if you obtain 100% pierce from sources OTHER than the skill gem you do not encounter the 30% damage issue and it is in fact quite powerful on bosses.

idk about sorc but on my lightning arrow ranger I've been trying to minimize my pierce cause it makes killing single targets harder when my shit just goes through the enemy and doesn't proc it's effect (or procs it on a fucking wall)

lightning arrows on hit effect only chains to nearby enemies, it doesn’t target the original enemy you hit with the actual arrow by removing pierce you’re just making your clear worse with no benefit to single target. it still procs the on hit effect even when it pierces enemies

he has click bound to scroll wheel - empy than clicks the orb, holds shift and just scrolls. Because the item either disappears or becomes a unique (those were orb of chance, not chaos) he doesn't have to worry about hitting it twice

How can a spark chain without piercing? Doesn't the projectile dissapear when it hits an enemy? Also the passive says "chains an additional time" and spark doesn't chain to begin with? Would love to know how and why this work since im playing spark stormweaver myself

Just like in PoE 1. Most projectiles dissapear on hitting an enemy IF there's no sources of FORK, CHAIN or PIERCE. If there's one then it doesn't dissapear until there's no left. Most projectiles can FORK, CHAIN or PIERCE if you have sources of that even if they don't do it innately

Bleeding can only be inflicted by you or an enemy when you get hit or hit the enemies life pool. after bleeding is successfully inflicted its damage will bypass energy shield.

why? he doesnt need it. in maps he has 2% mana on kill from a jewel (highly recommended, even if its expensive) and bosses die before hes out of mana (flask). would be wasted points. you only need enough mana regen to kill mobs/bosses everything beyond is wasted.

Can someone empyrian or an editor or anyone who knows tell me possibly what I’m doing wrong with my filter. So I download the folder I have it in the Poe 2 folder where it goes. I open it with notepad++ plus to change some item colors and hide some low tier whites and blues, I click save, then my filter doesn’t work at all. Any ideas?

Did you refresh the filter in game? Did you reload the filter? Did you put the filter into the base directory when you open the directory ingame? Usually you get an error if something is broken in your filter.

@@hairless33 this is a pure mechanical change. if your projectile does not pierce, it deals its damage once. if your projectile pierces, it allows your projectile to deal damage more than one time. if it is as Empy is implying and there is data showing pierce is bugged and lowers your damage when all your projectiles are "delay shotgunning" on a single target, that would be interesting but obviously bugged. correct me if im wrong but i would assume that instead, layout is not well enough considered. the Pierce Support Gem isn't ideal for Spark single target dps in most cases since most of your post-pierce projectiles will miss the target anyway, and sources of pierce already exist and could be used, thus adding a 30% less multiplier to all instances of pierce including pre-existing sources when socketing the Pierce Support Gem. the statement "the Pierce Support Gem is usually worth less single target dps than another competing support gem for Spark" is true for most instances. however if all of your projectiles including post-pierce projectiles hit the same target, the Pierce Support Gem initially provides 70% more damage when it is the only source of pierce. you would need a *very* small room with only one enemy to demonstrate this with Spark. not a great link choice when weighed against other choices. however by itself, it could not *lower* your single target damage unless you already have many instances of pierce that were already shotgunning the same target. the Support Gem, Pierce, just isn't as good as other choices for single target in practically all cases

I had fun playing through the campaign. But once I reached endgame I lost all interest in the game. It's just a boring and pointless grind of monsters. Occasionally you have a map that ends with a boss from the campaign... I don't understand what's fun about it. The loot is trash as well, exalted and divine orbs almost never drop. On top of that, everyone is using the same 3-4 builds because these are the only builds that one shot whole screen. Not to mention all BS penalties for dying like losing XP and waystones... I uninstalled PoE2 yesterday. Waiting for the multiplayer update for "No Rest For The Wicked".
