I'm upgrading my LEDs on my license plate lights on my F150 with LEDs from F150Leds! I'm getting rid of those yellow bulbs that come on my truck and getting a huge upgrade!

If you think it’s that important for others to see your license plate, I suppose good upgrade. Just not sure the owner’s benefit here….

The benefit to me was getting rid of those stock orange halogen bulbs. Didn’t really fit with the look of the truck anymore.

I also did an LED swap for the license plate lights. Much brighter but it kind of ruined my rear view mirror picture in the dark - seems like the camera can't adjust for the additional light. Do you have the same problem?

I haven’t noticed any difference backing up with them. I’ll check this weekend and report if I find something out of the ordinary.

So I didn't have the same problem but I did notice there is more glare within the backup camera from the brighter light. I'll try it in a few different situations throughout the weekend.

@@SmackeysGarage Yes, that's what I noticed too is the glare. I was thinking maybe put something like a window tint over the light? Maybe tinted tape? Thanks for the response and keep up the good work.
