You're a hero, man! Thank you so much for this video. I'm just about to do exactly this to my Lindr Kontakt 40/k, except I'm replacing two standard taps with two Lukr Barokos that I have tweaked to feature short Nostalgie handles. I have already read about how this is done, but nothing beats a video tutorial. Greetings from the Czech Republic!

Nice! Yea i was disappointed to not find a video like mine when i was switching out my Lindr faucets so i figured others like me would appreciate a look ahead. It’s definitely a niche market video 😂 CHEERS

Hello folks! Can You please give an advise about LUKR Nostalgia pour faucet. I have the same beer dispenser (Lindr) and also willing to replace the standard tap. My question is if LUKR faucet will improve the quality of the foam comparing to a standard tap from the kit? Will it give me an opportunity to create that “juicy white top”…?Or are there any other ways to get good looking and delicious foam at the beginning of pour? Will appreciate any help on this question

@@user-ub7uy4go7o it improves the foam 100%. It basically turns the foam into cream. There are two reasons for that. a) more beer flows through this tap at any given moment compared to any standard tap and b) there is some sort if creamer plate/sieve inside the tap. These two things combined produce a foam that's unparalleled

Thank you so much for the upload. I had wondered if this was possible and was so glad to see that it is. May I ask which shank size of the Lukr beer faucet was used? Was it the "EU standard shank - 5/8 x 60 mm"?

It is the EU standard shank. Im pleased you’re happy with the video!

The slow opening provides you with that wet foam. Keeps the rest of the beer from oxidation. Build the beer under the foam.

Looks very nice 😁 hope to see a pour soon. What is your dispensing method of choice excluding cans and bottles? Do you have a kegerator? And do you use the Lindr system on regular basis with kegs at room temperature?

Thanks! I’ve been canning all of my beer for the past year or so at least. I had a keezer but it died about eight months ago so I usually use the Lindr with kegs at room temperature. It works great but i havent really been using it lately so I figured id get a side pull for it. Its really nice to have a lindr on hand But I think I’m going to try and invest in a kegerator this holiday season or if im lucky wish one from the family for xmas 😂 I need to get back into kegging so I think it may be time for a kegerator…

@@MasteringHomebrew cool. I was just looking on the Malt miller website and it looks like AEB is now also doing 23L kegs. Just about 5 cm taller and slightly wider. One other question on the F80. While considering serving directly from the fermenter, is the coil on the tap the way to go? Or the coil is used just for low foaming gravity samples?

@@christiann.7195 If you’re interested in filling full glasses of beer then yeah the coil is the way to go.

what temperature for the PBW solution do you use for the cleaning?

I just use hot tap water - 40-50° i think it is

@@MasteringHomebrew How much time do you leave the PBW in the faucet for cleaning?
@MasteringHomebrew
@MasteringHomebrew 10 ай бұрын
@@knacrr half hour to an 1 hour should be good for soaking and then rinsing in water. I use beer line cleaner to clean the lindr lines though. I think that also sits for about 30 minutes.
