@@dorian.crafts Sorry for not asking when i made the comment, but do u have any tips on how to hide the *chest* ( without a binder) when sewing garments? [that is where my dysphoria comes from] i know you got top surgery but what did you do before?

@@ori_62 that's gonna be a matter of the structure and textures of the garment, mostly. what i did before surgery was i primarily used my boned-front binder i made. if i wasn't using that, i was taping. without using any kind of disguising undergarment, the kinds of things that would best hide the chest are either highly structured tops (probably with something like cording or boning) to build a flat shape, or very loose fabrics that will hide the chest in the folds (something a little stiffer like cotton shirting will work best here, rather than anything with a very soft drape) you can also distract from it a little with texture like pleating/gathering/etc but i find it's a little more tricky to do that in a way that doesn't induce dysphoria, bc a lot of the time those kinds of techniques can be used to emphasize the bust rather than hide it

You're the first youtuber in a while that inspires me, into making things and thinking out new projects (I already want to plan out my autumn and winter costume for next year, since summer isn't really my thing and I already have a fun pirate costume to play around with for in summer). thank you, that's very sweet!! the only thing i can really say about coffee dyeing is that for a dark color you gotta REALLY saturate that water and probably keep it boiling for a while with the fabric in it (i did not do this, i don't know how much it would have helped hgsdg) otherwise idk any particular guides for it 😭

Testosterone, though there are a lot of videos out there that coach you on how you can deepen your voice on your own. Of course not everyone will get their desired tone by themselves (personally my voice will never be as deep as I would like, but I'm not trans lol, I just REALLY wish I could do more voices). yes! everyone has this part to begin with, and testosterone tends to make it larger and sit lower in the throat. i believe there are also surgical procedures that can give the visual effect of a larger adam's apple

of course chubby people can wear whatever they please, it's just a matter of figuring out what shapes and materials you feel work aesthetically with your body, just like for anyone else. (check out emma_alamo on insta for proof every body shape looks great in a harness)
