It’s quite impressive. People can make AAA quality games on a platform like Roblox. But in a way it’s a win-win situation. Roblox gets a better reputation among gamers and more people/developers have a platform to make games on for free so it ends up we get more high end games and developers can earn money and maybe other game engines do the same but whatever it’s a win-win from my POV

Well, roblox isn’t a hard game engine, the reason so many ppl are calling roblox devs talented is because they are mostly kids who are roblox dev, it’s literally meant for kids, you could master it within a week, if you actually want a REAL game engine that’s hard, try unreal engine 5, then you can call urself talented.

Ideas: you could add more destruction. For example: if you do enough damage on an area with lights (on the enemy), the lights would start to flicker. Also, if you do enough damage, body parts could fly off. Just some ideas i thought would be great to submit. Hope you read this and enjoy :P

I think true destruction, like arms coming off and stuff, would benefit the game a lot. It would make it more to how you were describing it in the first episode. Plus, if there is an endoskeleton inside the bot, it could mean that the shell cound get knocked off, creating a weak point.

Idea: make a visual damage system, instead of using health bar, make advanced health system, where each body part has it own durrability and hp, the lower the hp, the more exposed inside part of the body part until it breaks and unable to use. Btw the robots looks clean af

So I actually don’t have discord but I have suggestions you could add into the game, though some might not meet the boxing criteria I think these are good: Armor mechanic: since it’s a 3D environment, you could make it so the more damage some of the armor takes the more stun, which we will talk about now. Stun mechanic: If you absolutely destroy the other opponent with a combo or something they go dizzy leaving them open for a slam or something. Grab and kick: kick is more long ranged then punch, would be M2, and grab would be pressing M1 and M2 together. Bouncy ring thingies: cuz why not????

Great video, love that you're learning modeling! One thing i've noticed about the uppercut animation is that the wrist and hand dont rotate like they should. The palm / inside of the fist should be facing you (not directly, but at about a 45 ish degree angle). Hope that made sense

The new impact anims look great but I think it would be sick if you still had the bolts flying everywhere. I also thought that an interesting mechanic to have would be as the fight goes on and your bot gets more damaged peieces start to fall off like arms and legs but the parts that are still attached get stronger

They need to add a Cutscene Special where: At above 10 HP: The attacking Bot Does a roundabout punch toward the opponent and if it hits, the opponent is knocked flat. At 10 HP or below: The attacking bot does the Roundabout punch, But Grabs the right arm of the opponent and RIPS IT OFF LIKE THE OPPONENT IS NOISY BOY. Then the attacking bot Grabs the head and ALSO RIPS IT OFF.

I actually really liked the blocky robots it's kinda like those robot fighting board games or free apps (I honestly think having a setting or special robot skin to make the blocky would be cool cause it would make anyone who rather the blocky than the smooth ones)

Add special upgrades that might slow overall movement instead of just having debuffs effecting the new limb. Like, arms that act like jackhammers (very zeus inspired), but they slow the speed of the robot and the jackhammer fists can't take that much of a beating without their block failing. Idk how possible this is or if I explained it well, but I think it would be neat.

suggestions quick time events: you should be able to click a number of buttons in a certain order to possibly stop/start a finisher move damage: you could add dents, wires, oil leaking if hit in certain parts critical hits: aiming for the head and landing a good hit could possibly stun/blur the other players view or if you hit there arm it will do less damage/ be slower so its more dodgeable choosing a moveset: when the game gets more devoleped you could add a locker where you can customize certain attacks that you want to use bots: you could add different kinds of movement systems like 6 legged walkers or wheeled bots walkins: before a round starts different bots could have different walkings like coming through a portal, rising from underground, dropping from the ceiling, or just a normal walkout with customizable music fire: if possible when a bot gets hit enough it will catch fire and slowly start to decrease in speed/strength coreburst/ultimate: a time where if you are skilled enough to catch a quicktime event your robot will transform and having glowing armor and enhanced attack speed classes: you should make classes for different kind of bots with a rock papper scissors system like a brawler bot aka rock which has heavier hitting movesets and more damage, great for attacking defender class, but less attack speed, a defender bot that can tank alot more hits but has lowered strength/speed, great for blocking lightweight attacks, a lightweight class that can attack at the speed of light, but not doing alot of damage, great for combos, great for attack brawler.
