I think the reason I’ve loved these so much is that children’s mind are so creative with no restrictions. They don’t follow rules or patterns, techniques. When you interpret it into a more advanced build, it is some of the best looking builds I’ve ever seen, not because they’re the most advance, but they are really advanced build anyways, but their look is so unique.

Many times having a child hinders the parents to enjoy LEGO, but in your case it is definitely the opposite, and I see he inspires you a lot. I loved how you resolved the rounded torso part, and the leg+feet design seems to be really stable, allowing lot of flexibility in posing and still quite slim in the look. Also, I usually feel that the official LEGO sets are waaaay too colorful and I don't really like them due to this. However when I look at your models I have to realize that I feel so because LEGO doesn't develop so cool and well designed models, as you do. :) Congrats, I wish lot of inspiration for you and for your son! (Because that will mean lot of cool model for us! :) ).
