I've owned my 3rd gen for 22 years (bought new) and had multiple failures of these links - even while under warranty. After warranty, I bought a couple of different brands that all bent or otherwise failed. The BD has been on it for 13 years and shows no signs of problems. It's the only way to go IMO.

🤔 I know the instructions say to assemble the way you did. The shank end of the bolt is a lot stronger than the thread end. Not sure how much force the sway bar links see. I would put the weakest link of the bolt away from a hard mount when possible. 🤷🏼‍♂️ My way of thinking I guess. Nice detailed video. Without thoroughbred I wouldn't have chosen a 3rd gen or know about aftermarket parts for them.

This question has nothing to do with sway bar end links but a question on 6 speed manual transmissions , if you were ordering a manual 6 speed for your 2004 dodge dually would you get the NV5600 or the G56. Would really like your input on this question and reason for choosing the one you pick. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and making videos for our gain to learn.

Second gen dodge is 1994-2002

What prevents it from rotating in the middle? Seems like a bad design vs a solid piece

The sway bar is supposed to be able to articulate to a degree, and these links allow greater articulation (off roading) but doesn’t fail or rust and fall out making the sway bar useless. Even with a extra point of articulation, you still have sway bar correction for roll with these links.

The Oem is tapered. Really just opening a little to accept straight bolt.

Very nice ... but ... why does BD constantly avoid making any products for us 4500/5500 or F450/F550 folks!!!!! Are we the "Red headed step children" of the truck world? There are plenty of us out here who would like to not have to go to the dealer every time we need a part.
