Upgrading The 13 Mini To The iPhone 16 Pro

When I read the 16 pro would be larger early last year prior to the release I went with a blue titanium 15 Pro, I still have it but my blue 13 Mini is still my daily driver, always puts a smile on my face when I pick it up and use it, easy to hold, nimble and light, not a power user so no issues. I will hold out and hope Apple eventually releases something smaller again or a flip iPhone, not holding my breathe, but got years of Apple support with these two iPhones.

@SSI1911 - I can totally relate to the feeling as I loved my mini, still have it but it’s no longer in use. If I knew the 16 pro would get heavier I would’ve gone for the 15 pro but honestly I was holding on in hopes of a new mini. I’m at the point now where I don’t think it’s gonna happen so before these devices possibly get larger I upgraded to the 16 pro.

It's gonna be the size of the standard 16 or or between the plus.

I am still holding on to my 12 mini and my first gen SE (backup/work phone). I used to have a 6s plus and hated the size so much that I went to the SE.

I had the mini I changed it last year for the basic 15 the camera is perfect for me , I know nothing about pro raw photography 😂, I don’t like large phones because I’ve small hands . A bit disappointed that they didn’t give Apple intelligence with the basic model but I’ve no intention of upgrading for that . Thank you as always for your great content 😊

@thisworldisnotreal - Yes it’s definitely an ideal size and I absolutely loved the mini but until we get an update I’ll hold onto the 16 pro ☺️. Still have my mini as a backup in case I ever decide to go back.

I just brought home the iPhone 16 only to learn I have no chargers for it. My car outlet doesn't fit it, nor do any of my wall charger blocks. I'm so frustrated!

I have iphone 13 with 83 Battery health. I am planning to upgrade to 16 pro. is it worth or should I get base 16 but it got 60hz

@YourBairagi - It’s definitely a worthy upgrade but I would say if you can just upgrade when the 17 comes out because even base non pro models should be getting 120hz.

Going from 15 pro to 16 pro seems massive to me . I was hoping it being slightly larger wouldn’t make a difference but IT DOES. 15 pro is the last really pro “mini” imo. I hate how now the “small” pro model is now approaching XS MAX territory.
