Aren't the two up top supposed to be open so the deck can drain?
@LivinWith3M3 ай бұрын
Not on mine. That’s if you have scupper drains. Those are like one way check valve drains. 👍🏼

My skiff dev doesn’t have the stainless garboard plugs. Pretty sure it wasn’t a factory option.

Oh wow. Ok very good information. Thank you for passing that on. We will see if anyone else has any experience as well. 👍🏼

Shouldn't your plugs be facing inside the boat so you can get to them when you're on the water?
@LivinWith3M Жыл бұрын
Nope. Not designed that way. From outside only. If you open them from inside when on water you will sink.

These plugs are 100% supposed to be on the inside. I have never seen anyone put them on the outside. These boats are foam filled and cannot sink and if they could sink then that is all the more reason to have them in the inside in case they fell out... I have a 238 DLV and always run with my bilge plug out since the hull is self bailing. It is on my mooring right now, no plugs.

Please tell me what you mean. Those are factory holes. I just replaced the rubber plugs with stainless.
