Thank you! This was something I needed on my 126 without realizing I needed it until I saw your video. I’ve never been able to get the water flow set to my satisfaction, this sure makes sense without a locknut but with a tension nut instead. Parts ordered!

A 1" piece of the same clear tubing on the water outlet puts the drip right on the blade.

Yep! Thats what we found also.

I need to upgrade so glad you posted this. I'm considering two valves- one at the tank for on off and a needle valve for the drip that would occasionally get adjusted but use the tank valve for on off.

Glad I could help! I think your idea of using two valves is a good one, since it would allow you to keep the flow rate constant, instead of having it change every time you shut the valve off. Good luck with your build, and thanks for the comment!

Excellent idea - I have purchased the parts and will install once the weather warms up.

Does the valve stay at adjustment once the mill is running?
@bbfarmsmaple80118 ай бұрын
Yes it does, there's a fair amount of friction on the shaft and it stays put very well!

I like that valve. I think a 90° before the valve instead of the nipple would get you close to the original routing direction if you find it to be a problem with big logs. Let us know how it holds up for you.

Thanks. Good idea on the 90 degree fitting.. thanks for the comment!!
