Upgrading the N80 Hilux Suspension, fitting wheels and tyres

This week we fit some Radflo 2.0 suspension to the N80 Hilux and Dirty life wheels
We had a customer with Radflo suspension in their Hilux come in and after driving it I knew we had to run it in our N80 Toyota Hilux.
The lift kit is 3” front and 2” rear with adjustable Radflo struts and shocks, superpro UCA’s and Phatbars Diff drop.
This suspension lift kit is super comfortable on road and flexible offroad
The wheels we chose are Dirty Life DT-1 with 0 offset and bead lock option. We have the beadlocks on back order
Tyres are a Falken Wildpeak AT3 285/70/17. I have used these on my own previous cars and plenty of customers cars. Quiet on road and excellent traction offroad with thick sidewalls.

With the front leaf spring mounting bolt on the passenger side, a lot of people (including me) cut it off and replace it with a new one. Nice video with heaps of detail. Well done.

Thanks Steven!! Yeah we cut the bolt with a air hacksaw, but thought we should suggest removing tank to avoid any issues with people damaging tank etc

I have a 2020 SR5 with a outback armour 2’ lift with no upper control arm change it’s still standard can I put 285/70/17 AT3 BF,s 17x9 rims(not sure what the offset should be) without it scraping… thanks

Nope. You'll scrape the guard near the door seal when turning on compression (with mud guard removed). My 275/70/17 and aftermarket UCA and castor adjustment just clears body mount. Not sure if 285/70/17 will clear body mount.

I​@@photodriftI put the iron man upper control arm and 265/70/17 faicon wild peaks with a 50mm lift with ROH P12 offset and tyre sit level and not out of the guard.

What would be the go in wanting the front end of the car to sit higher then the back end. I’ve got stock suspension in now and my rear end is sitting relatively high. I do have an alloy bar on. Thinking about going 3inch front 2 inch rear but not sure.

The only place that can get a 3 to 4 inch ifs suspension lift certified is superior engineering, Pre rego.

Thanks 👍🏻 You will have to do a body mount chop and trim or fold lower front guard in to fit unless you have a big lift

You can cut it or fold it in so tyre doesn’t hit it

@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 2021 sr5, 4 inch lift clears a 285 with slight rubbing on the front rear mud gaurd, no cutting of the front at all.

Hey mate Yeah stoked with them. Only thing I would do different is get remote res. When going across Fraser on inland tracks was getting a bit rough when the shocks got hot
