Upgrading Your HPI Jumpshot ST V2 with a Brushless Conversion: A Step-by-Step Guide

In this video, I'll show you how to upgrade your HPI Jumpshot ST V2 with a brushless conversion, step-by-step. I was disappointed with the speed of the brushed 12t Saturn Motor that came with the car, so I decided to upgrade to a hobbywing Ezrun G2 3652 3300kv Brushless motor and a BLX 100 ESC. I also upgraded the diff gear from composite to the HD 60t steel gear and a 24t 48dp Pinion, as I'm planning to run it on a 2s lipo. With these upgrades, my HPI Jumpshot ST V2 is now faster and more powerful than ever before. Follow along with me as I walk you through the process of upgrading your own car, and get ready to experience the thrill of a brushless conversion!
There are several other upgrades that you can consider for your HPI Jumpshot ST V2 to enhance its performance and durability. Here are a few options:
1. Upgraded shocks: Replacing the stock shocks with high-quality, oil-filled shocks can improve the car's handling and stability, especially when driving on rough terrain.

Hiya Chris firstly I’m new to the rc world and told that this model would be a good started it came Thursday and bloody eck the things bonkers loving it though,thing is it’s brushed so seeing I hope to upgrade it by a little could I follow the brushless flux version,and get the same engine as well running 3s?as said not looking to make it real fast,just looking to race it round football fields and grass tracks thank you again yr videos are very informative did you move the modular bit forward to stop it wheeling as much again as said like the channel and contents one of the best of the U.K. cheers

As for moving the centre forward yes this will definitely help with keeping the front wheels down . My diff looks different and i have the same car . It has 4 little loose gear inside . Very strange

Stock tyres are pretty much useless especialy brushless & on dirt / gravel, not much traction. You can use Arrma 0 .8 pitch (32dp) spur gear + the Arrma slipper pads. Part numbers AR310405 57t spur gear, AR310584 slipper pads. The hole in this spur is a small hole that simply needs drilling out to 5mm, lots run these trucks on 3s but can be a bit crazy on 3s.
