It’s early Saturday morning and I’m meeting up with Eric in his Porsche 911 Carrera 991.2 and Steven in his Mazda Miata NC for some spirited driving. This video is us doing uphill and downhill runs on one of my favorite local roads.

I think it was "shift lock". Where you mess up on the throttle blip and don't match the RPMs well before letting go of the clutch, so you get a sudden jerk slow down which can cause the backend to step out.

Actually, it's a custom setup. 2.5" piping with matching untra quite high-low muffler and a matching 2.5" resonator and 3" from the lower control arm to the back

The motor im keeping stock, but my suspension is nothing to fxck with. BC coilovers with parts from a company called FIGS Engineering everything that can be adjusted in my suspension came from them. Its kind of like the ae86 from initial d almost stock engine with the shit load of suspension goodies

In my daily life I'm a very calm person, but when I drive my civic I transform into an agressive driver. I dont know if is the Vtec or the short gear scaling, but my car demands me to drive like this. Do you have a similar feeling?

I think it's the emotional connection with this old car that makes me drive it the way I do! I have other cars that in my opinion, drive better than my civic, however when I'm driving my civic none of that logic matters. When the vtec engages I feel like a switch goes off in my head and sends the signal to my heart and I transform into "G-man the wheel man" and it consumes me!

Honestly it depends on the corners I'm at. It ranges from 2nd gear to 4th abo e 5500 rpm most times. Tires are 205/50r15 Federal 595 RS-RR
