I love Edinburgh! Visited there in 2003. Went up by train from London. The train broke down a bit before we got to Scotland and they sent motor coaches to bus us the rest of the way to Edinburgh. It was quite an adventure. Haha.

Excellent video Bob & Sue! My parents loved FL and we vacationed there many yrs-dad was an avid fisherman. Several occasions we drove down the gulf coast to Key West & came back the Atlantic side. You're videos make me homesick, lol. Now that I don't get there as much thank you both so much for bringing FL to me!

I use to live there in the 90s i thought it looked different i swear there use to be a baseball field by lake monroe i use to play in 97 i was like 4 or lived in sanford for 3 4 years

That's where I live & I love this old Florida town/City. My daughter was little in the early 90's & we watched My girl many times & never knew they filmed a scene here. Thanks for the info & post.

It would be a great place to park a boat. You can get on the St John's River and go north or south off Lake Monroe.

@@LuckyDawgProductions Yes, and with ever-rising water levels virtually the whole state is in trouble. My remark was meant as a warning to anyone who might look at these beautiful shots of a charming little beach town, look at real estate on zillow and be encouraged by the friendly prices. You might be surprised to hear that people buy in these areas without checking FEMA maps first. It may seem reasonable, when you're looking at a house built in the 50's to think it's made it through a lot of hurricanes and floods and it should be fine; but these aren't our grandpa's hurricanes, or water levels. Just a word of caution.

@@LuckyDawgProductions That's the thing though about rising water levels; a good elevation decades ago might not be good enough now, or in a few years. I was born and raised in Jax and it's probably going to be fine for a long time. But recently I've been thinking of moving back and used the FEMA map to look up specific addresses and have just realized it's not the most recently updated one. Oops, lol. :) And I know of a couple of people who have bought lots in Taylor County because of the fewer restrictions on rvs and alternative energy, only to realize it's flooding more and more. It's not like they're building much on their land, but eventually it'll be worthless.
