I am in the process of cleaning out an old shed ... and found a treasure of an old piano stool long forgotten 1920s... it's tattered cover was of once fine linen.. but now soiled. Everyone said "Throw it out"... but I shan't. I have to restore it (recover it) and breath new life in it... So very glad to have found your video... Thank you so much...

Hoping to learn what to do with the corners, I watched three videos where they just stuffed fabric in a wad and stapled over it, saying things like "oh, the frame will cover that." Thank you first for showing how a craftsman would do it. And thank you second for caring about production values. The head camera was a win! You aced this, sir.

Hi guys very good video, I cannot tell you the time I wasted and the aggravation I have had on doing the corners of just about anything. Untell a friend of mine taught me the skill you just made a video about GOOD JOB. I also have found a tool that you cannot buy just anywhere, for trimming around just finished project , I use sugiical bandage scissors. they are made from high quality steel and if you get germany made they are THEE best. They have like guides on them. the bent steel around front is so you donot scrape or stab skin so it is for safety but for you can use that to your advantage , the bent edge helps to protect project and you do not dig in wood or scare or marr the wood. So there you have it. Keep videos coming I myself have learned alot, not only reminders of forgotten skills but also new techniques .

Hello Nancy, Very glad you enjoyed the video really, thank you. Funny you bring that up on the scissors, years ago a person was working on my telephone wires on the side of my house. I find a pair lying in the grass and started using them for that very purpose. They have become dull and I never replaced them, I been meaning too. They are great, everything you said PERFECT for that use. I should make that a quick tip idea in a video, I just need to remember to replace them. :) Lol. Again thank you very much. Please share the videos when you can it helps us a Lot when you do. Cheers, Paul

Hi there, There are really the same. It is helpful if needed to use a hairdryer to make the plastic more pliable, easier to work with. That's it really two tricks for the most part, again you may might need them. I hope this helps, please share the videos it help us when you do. Cheers, Paul
