I don’t have an upholstery kit but I do need to fix it it’s not out like yours it’s kinda in and I’m curious how it happened? Can you do it with a regular sewing kit?.

It is possible but it is a little more difficult and requires you to double up your string. I'm curious as to what you mean by "in". Is it very tight? Instead of the loose flap in the video?

I'm wondering is this curved needed used for any upholestery tear. For example there's a just a slight upholestery tear in a chair I'd like to reparto but not on a curved area as the one your demonstrating it with? What do you do once your out of thread? Do you purchase another kit with another needle or what thread do you use?

@@taniamorken4566 Yes, the curved needle can work on any upholstery tear. It's doesn't have to be a curved area. This kit comes with Coats & Clark upholstery thread. A strong double bonded nylon thread made for upholstery tears. 150 yards in each spool, so you're unlikely to run out from one tear.
