Great video, camera angles and all. I am learning to use the old Consew 225 walking foot that I got to hobby with because I like to try every thing. I have much appreciation for a craftsman who will take the time to share his knowledge. It seems to me that those that do are truly the best in the business because the demand for their talents is not threatened by the abilities of others whom they help along the way. Thank you.

Thanks Craig. Just great! The zipper boxing was helpful to me. I have just finished building a Morris chair and would like to make the leather cushions it calls for. The plan calls for a center welt back cushion with zipper on the bottom end, and the seat cushion is box welting with waterfall front and zipper at back.

Hey Craig I went on line and found out that they make a walking foot for home sewing machines . Great news for me . Now working with vinyl on my boat seats may not be so bad. I ordered the foot and tried it out. It works pretty good. If not for your reply to my comment on your vid I would have never known. Thank you so much I believe you have single handedly saved my project. By the way I'm getting batter with my seams and I'm welting with an adjustable zipper foot. I have a smile on my face. Thanks again Craig.

WOW! thanks so much. IMMENSELY helpful. I have a question? Can you help me out? PM would prob be best. Need help with like the bolsters of an auto seat. Like on a sport or bucket seat. How do you cut and stitch the curve? I mean I assume just cut and stitch the pattern of the curve? but it seems like it wouldn't be taught. Help please.

I liked your vid it was really helpful. I need to try each seam myself until i get them down before I try to make seats for my boat. I'm just trying my hand at sewing so I need to learn a lot. My question to you is this. Can I use a home sewing machine to sew boat seat fabric? Thanks for any info you can give.

If you are going to use vinyl you need to open the stitch as wide as it will go. And use the thickest thread you can. You will have a problem not having the walking foot, Good luck

Hey Craig thanks for the info. I'll work on some scrap vinyl first since I don't have a walking presser foot. I hope it works out. Thanks.
