CarCriticAssessor 1, The canvas used is called Hessian its actualy the best quaslity cloth for deep buttoning 2, Leather doesn't breath because it has been dyed and laquered and is dead animal skin so it doesnt breath. 3, sofas arnt grown in feilds so wont get dry rot depending on how damp your house is (i dont know where you live but i wouldnt of thaught people would have sofas in mud huts. 4, the leather is treated so their is no odors.

i used to do that type of job too. back in 1992 but they only pay me minimum wage at that time 4.25 per hour and raise me .25 cents every 3 months or so, It took me 6 months to learn the basics of upholstery but is more than that cos it takes about 2 years to learn the whole trade including sewing. good luck to those interested ! ...

I have a question. I just bought a new Lay Z Boy recliner Sofa comb. I find that I don't sit quite like I did with my old crappy At The Brick sofa. The material was atrocious fake bonded leather that was virtually destroy after one year but it was comfortable. I am wondering if there is a break in period?.

я не занимаюсь мягкой мебелью, но меня тоже покоробило что за самый край поролон пристреливают к дереву. Надежда, что чехол дивана будет держать поролон. Хотя, может, изначально диваны изготавливаются лет на 3-5, а потом без зазрения совести меняются на новые. Вообще очень мало роликов в которых рассказывается технология изготовления мягкой мебели...
