it took the world 4 decades to realize that the Shah was in fact a legitimate king who kept the entire Middle East a consistent peaceful part of the world. He was artistically dealing with communists, fundamental Muslims and so many threats which had created a barbaric collaboration later called Islamic Revolution. Nuclear plans, chaos in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, Lebanon, etc are the result of this dark establishment and the Shah was neutralizing them and keeping peaceful Iran as one of the leading developing countries in the world.

Reza Moosavi the irony is that the West and the Shah, and even Israel saw Islamists as an effective tool against communist. You reap what you sow.

@@meegz149 Totally. The sad part is that the globalists haven't learnt a thing out of that and did even worst to Afghanistan.

in 1945 he told his father he didnt want to be king and wanted to go with him to south africa. In the 50s the public wanted mossadegh in power because he would nationalise the oil companies. Because the shah was pacifist and pro-western the CIA managed to stop mossadegh from gaining power and brought the shah back into the country. While those who like luxury and western style living probably enjoyed those days This kind of outside meddling probably antagonised alot of people. The shah would call his opponents pieces of s*** so if he didnt respect some people he shouldnt have been surprised they thought similar. Maybe you made some valid points but his appoinments and his position was orchestrated not by the iranian public but by the US.

It amazes me how so many diaspora Iranians are nostalgic about the Shah. They seem to love access to luxury items and discos more than justice. They have no problem in having poor Iranians being tortured and murdered just as long as they can enjoy a nice life.

What torture are you talking about ???? Nobody was tortured except for communists and leftists im not saying they deserved it but communism was banned during shah’s time so it was understandable
