That is an awesome hunt. You could also throw in gray and black Francolin on some of the neighboring islands.

How's the bird numbers compared to the northwest & is there enough room or public lands to hunt and really get out in with your dog?

The bird numbers are awesome since there are no predators on the islands. Also the climate is perfect for growing hatch rates. The public land is a challenge thus why I ended up going with an outfitter. I hope that helps.
