Actually he has and so has so many others including Carly herself said that Brenda is the love of his life, never once has he called Carly his soulmate, but multiple times he has chosen Brenda over Carly

I told this story earlier about how when I became homeless and out of nowhere Maurice sits down right by me in the middle of the late evening. How he found me was incredible and after seeing him on TV for all those years I could only wonder why he came. The soap was great to reflect on. The music was heart wrenching and probably the only reason I stay tuned. I am not the kind of person that looks back, ever for any reason. Relationships to me are like death, and in death we only die once. So when I reflect it isn't because I miss anyone. I don't. I don't miss anyone anymore. For any reason. Ever. In fact I wish I had never met some people. People that only made a mess out of my life and are the reason I have nothing. There was no one like Sonny and Brenda though they made you wish that there was. They were that great. The cave was sad, and the way he protected her made you wonder if men like that really exist. Do they? And Vanessa, no one like her. I hope for sake she isnt related to my family. Sorry to have to say that aloud. No, no people in this world leave their relatives outside for any reason and mine only used me for money. It's all I ever was to them, a source of income. I had to wonder if they were really people, I started to believe they were robots cause love was foreign word to them. Probably the reason I still watch these videos. Because Vanessa doesn't seem to be fake. Thanks Maurice and Vanessa you guy were chemistry like no one on screen. You made a believer out of me with all that stuff, and I am the toughest sale out there.

I rolled my eyes so hard at that scene. Why on earth would he kill himself over Connie. And he did not try it when he thought Brenda die or when she left him. I don't know what on earth them writing trying to pull. He so torn up over Connie's death that he willing to off himself. And one day before she was kill Sonny was thinking about being with Olivia. Weirdest crap ever.

I coulda swore that when this aired, Sonny said something about waking up from a dream, startled and that's how he knew about Brenda's death. But maybe *I* was dreamin. Cuz I didn't hear shit about that here.

That is true. Sonny had a dream about Brenda, something happened in the dream that woke him up. Then Jason called him to let him know she was dead. I also remember him trashing his stuff. Then next you see Jason coming to visit him.

@@Gigi-mc2zb No, unfortunately not! You had to have seen it when it aired. I wish someone had it or it was in between a scene of someone's story, like Jason and Robin. But I've looked everywhere for it! He has a dream about her, wakes up, knows she's "dead" gets the call from Jason that confirms it . Sonny goes crazy and trashes the place. Then you see Jason coming to visit him to bring him back because he knows Sonny's not in the right state of mind and afraid for him.
