Este tema me parece muy interesante. 1:33:00 Estoy de acuerdo con casi todo lo q apunta el prof. cuando acaba la conferencia: queremos calentar agua a 200° para mover una turbina, con plasma que se encuentra a una temperatura mayor q la del sol... Me parece bien la fusión nuclear por su eficiencia (aunque al principio parezca cara: enviar al hombre a la luna seguro fue más caro y no tuvo ningún beneficio directo para los ciudadanos) pero no entiendo q no se piense en un método más eficaz de aprovechar esas altas temperaturas para producir energía eléctrica.

Muy interesante la exposición, creo que desde el punto científico funcionará, el tema es que si será económicamente viable, lo cual depende de muchos factores como la capacidad científica para solucionar los problemas que se conocen hasta el momento y los que falta por vivir; la gestión que tenga el proyecto como sobrecostos, recortes de presupuesto, corrupción, etc; la situación política de los países miembros y el grado de entendimiento de la sociedad de las implicaciones de este proyecto, la sociedad actual se enfoca en el beneficio inmediato y tiende a descuidar el perjuicio a largo plazo.

He sido afin a las ciencias exactas desde niño y como miembro de un país del tercer mundo con cocimiento a nivel de secundaria he acumulado literatura en las áreas principales: Fisica, Química, Biologia, Matematica, Astronomía, y temas afines desde la perspectiva de las ciencias sociales: religiones, politica y ambientales. Con esto considero sumamente pertinente (sin intereses negativos) promocion y desarrollo de tecnologias. ¿Cuànto se gasta en armas y justificación de guerras?

No deves comparar el costo del iter con otras cuestiones ajenas a la producsion d enerjia electrica. Comparalo con otras opsiones reales, y ya en funsionamiento , d priducsion d enerjia electrica; si analisas vien, te daras cuenta de ce el iter es finansieramente inviavle. Se deve cocluir? Hola me ha gustado mucho la exposición, me gustaría saber si me ha quedado claro el concepto que se aplica en este caso para conseguir la fusión, según lo he entendido los lasers van a crear un primer plasma al desintegrar la esfera plástica, si esa desintegración es homogenea se va a crear una bola de plasma concéntrica que envuelve el "target" a fusionar, esa bola de plasma super caliente va expandirse a unas velocidades elevadisimas pero a la vez el plasma va a ejercer una presión formidable en un tiempo pequeñisimo sobre el target.... si las condiciones de temperatura, presión y tiempo son las adecuadas en teoría se alcanzan las condiciones de fusión....¿es esa la síntesis? gracias un saludo.

Yo si estoy de acuerdo con el ponente. Si no lo he entendido mal lo que dice es que la ciencia y la tecnología no son soluciones en sí mismas de nada , son herramientas que podemos y utilizar bien, regular o mal, y que tiene que ser la sociedad en su conjunto la que decida cómo se aplican, para solventar determinados problemas. La técnica y la ciencia son como un cuchillo, podemos utilizarlo para cortar el pan ò el cuello a alguien. Utilizadas correctamente son fantásticas y unas herramientas poderosas que nos permiten arrebatar del dolor, la pobreza y la muerte a millones de personas, pero también con ellas podemos eliminar la vida de este planeta en unos minutos. Hace ya unos cuantos años ya que disponemos los recursos técnicos y materiales para eliminar la pobreza extrema del planeta, y darle a todos los seres humanos unas condiciones dignas de vida, tanto en las naciones desarrolladas como en las en "desarrollo", sin embargo estas herramientas no se aplican en estos objetivos, y las desigualdades, en cuanto a sanidad, educación, alimentación, seguridad,...etc siguen siendo brutales entre países y entre clases sociales, eso si no siguen aumentado. Todos somos testigos de multimillonarios con fortunas mayores que el presupuesto anual de países desarrollados, y personas que viven recogiendo las basuras de otros, con menos de 1 dolar al día, ellos y sus descendientes.

Esto qiere desir? Vueno, q con 20 mil miyones d dls se pueden construir 40 presas con una potensia electrica del dovle cada una de eyas. En otras palavras, con el costo del reactor iter se puede jenerar 80 veses mas enerjia con otras opsiones, en este caso: presas. Conclusion: es finansieramente inviavle el iter. Se deve concluir el iter? Si, para sacar conclusiones (tecnicas, sientificas, evolojicas, finansieras, economicas, sosiales, ets.) pertinentes.

Por mucho q vajes costos, no sera mucho lo q se pueda vajar. 2 el cost d mantenimiento es altisimo. Las paredes solo duran unos 10 años, y son carisimas. Las paredes d una presa duran años, decadas, siglos e incluso milenios. El costo d mantenimiento es minimo en comparasion d un reactor d fusion. La energia q generaria no es totalmente limpia, segura mas o menos, pero no ilimitada. Es muy caro, comprende.
