Fucking love it before the slow breakdown, he screams, "this ones for Texas! Rest in peace Dime!" It's too good, they nailed the solo too, fucking love it. They made it their own too without ruining it. I've heard some bands ruin songs but UABB did it so well. Love pantera, love UABB, love the song, love the cover. Thank you for this(:

I actually think pantera isn't nearly as good as this. The band may be good at writting new music but when they put it all together the quality of the sounds isn't nearly as good and as brutal as this.
@tonystank97394 жыл бұрын
MT Infinity 😟You’re kidding. The voice in this song is deeper and more brutal, but Phil could actually make his voice more unique and different instead of a growl. The guitars don’t nearly express the sound needed. It’s also pretty choppy. This version is pretty eh. But that Dime respect was good.

***** You really need to learn more about music if you think Pantera is either of: 1 - Generic 2 - 80's. Quality cover though.
@FramingArmageddonIE10 жыл бұрын
Pantera started out as a glam/hair metal cover band in the turn of the 80's prior to writing their own music and producing four albums of such glam metal before releasing their ground-breaking Cowboys From Hell in 1990. Practice Before You Preach Faggot
@FramingArmageddonIE10 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, is there an argument in there? Since when does an album not count in a band's history of their time, their sound, their history? Saying the first four Pantera albums don't count because they weren't the "Pantera everyone knows and loves" is like saying the first four Metallica albums "don't count" because they came out prior to the Black Album which is the "Metallica everyone knows and love." The Black Album being one of the most pinnacle metal albums in HISTORY alongside Pantera's Cowboys From Hell. People love both pre/post-CFH Pantera, just as people love pre/post-Black Album Metallica. All the albums prior to their "commercial conglomerate" records were all necessary in helping them progress as musicians and find their "sound" that made them the metallic icons they are today. Gravitating towards one era of their sound as opposed to the other is one thing, but saying that pieces of work they slaved over and poured their hearts and wallets into "don't count" is of the more arrogant things I've heard a musically incompetent cock-goblin spew before; congratulations. Now please, make like a tree, and FUCKING CUT YOURSELF.
@ReiverGames10 жыл бұрын
xxxPinkyGSterxxx You take internet warrioring to the next level, congratulations! There is just no reasoning with some people. When fans speak of Pantera you have a clear split, there is pre-CFH and post. They are separate entities. Especially when you consider Phil was only on the '87 album. Believe what you want, but that's just how it is. I don't know why you brought Metallica into this... But your link is tenuous and tired... Comparing CFH to the Black Album is very wrong, that would be Vulgar Display of Power. Every Pantera fan knows that. But then i guess you have shown that, while you have decent Wikipedia skills, you are not really a Pantera fan. Back to the original point though, Pantera are a '90's band. They may have been formed in the early/mid '80's, but they had their final lineup all the way through the '90's, playing the music they loved, and are loved for.
@FramingArmageddonIE10 жыл бұрын
A TRUE Pantera fan wouldn't completely dismiss part of the band's history as relative just because they don't agree with it.

Sigh. God damn it. How can you tell someone to educate themselves when your not being intelligent yourself dude? A cover is an homage to whatever band you do a cover of. What is the point of making a cover without putting your own bands sound in it?? Why i lvoe covers by people like johnny cash. They make it sound like their own music. And if you dislike it why call it shit? It's an homage to pantera and dime bag. Enjoy and respect it for what it is or just move on.
