Saying the first four Pantera albums don't count because they weren't the "Pantera everyone knows and loves" is like saying the first four Metallica albums "don't count" because they came out prior to the Black Album which is the "Metallica everyone knows and love." The Black Album being one of the most pinnacle metal albums in HISTORY alongside Pantera's Cowboys From Hell. People love both pre/post-CFH Pantera, just as people love pre/post-Black Album Metallica.
