Launched, and led with the crown of his helmet. It’s objectively targeting, per the rules, no matter where in the country you are. You can argue about if it’s a bad rule, or who blew the lead, but Miami did receive a blessing for the refs there that almost assuredly would’ve lost them the game.

Very surprised a rare bad episode, I have watched every single episode for years but this one was the surprisingly the worst. Best weekend of CFB in years and its an hour episode in which you just straight up skip so many of the games. You talked about the AP poll instead of probably the best RB of all time and you started with Malachi Moore as your headline story???? Targeting and ineligible receivers down field. Two bad overlooked calls that changed the outcome of the game. Yes, Miami came back from a big deficit. They have Cam Ward that helped them do that. But that's besides the point. You make the right calls as the ref. You don't deserve the win just because you made a come back. ACC and the refs are corrupt.

Iowa being better than Michigan is a pretty bad take. Michigan is just a better version of Iowa. Michigan has two conference wins, Iowa only had one and against a team Michigan also beat. I know Iowa State is doing alright to this point, albeit factoring in the competition they’ve faced. Losing the Cyhawk just the 2nd time in 9 years doesn’t scream elite Iowa team.

I personally think that Oregon team isn’t as good as people think. I also have big question mark as to Boise state defense, as I said. Shoulder hit shoulder, but crown also hit helmet first. Watch the replay, the first part of the QB’s body that reacts to the hit is his head getting rocked to the side away from the impact. If shoulder hit shoulder first, the initial reaction would be his head trying to stay in place while his shoulder moves away from the impact, thus looking like his head would move towards the impact. Was a targeting. It can be and is simultaneously true that Cal blew a lead and Miami was granted a blessing from the refs.
