I've been a fan of Patrick O'Hearn since the late 80s when I was a dj in college. This is one of my favorites by Patrick.

This track's absolutely gorgeous. It's got quite sorrow and bluesy vibe hasn't it, but such an enchanting feel too 🥰

I hope for a new O'Hearn album for so many years now... If you want something powerful, then listen to the first three tracks of his album "Indigo". Basically almost everything he ever did feels like pure magic to me.

The progression of the synth reminds me of the intro to UK's "Time to Kill."

I have everyone of Patrick O'Hearn albums and believe me this compostion is from Indigo. In 1991 when it came out I was at Tower Records and they were playing it inside.for all to hear. That's when I purchased it. This is the most darkest and moody album he ever made. 100 percent New Age all the way. Eat your heart out Yanni (from 976-CREOLEMAN)!

Is that a flugel horn Isham is playing here? I thought it was a large-bore trumpet, but I can't find any credits that say. It sounds too 'trumpety' to be a flugel, but it also doesn't sound like a common b-flat trumpet. All the time I've been listening to (and loving) this piece, I thought it was a C trumpet. Lovely piece of music. Haunting and melancholy. - "For thou wilt lie upon the wings of night Whiter than new snow on a raven's back Come, gentle night, come, loving, black-brow'd night" - Sends a shiver of emotion down my spine.

You think that's where the title came from? All those years, decades actually, and I never knew that... thanks.

Love the images you use to express the emotion of the song. Will you ever start putting the links to the images in the description box? Thanks for uploading.

It reminds me of ''The Hawk'' by Marianne Faithfull.
