Upper Control Arms Poly Bushings DIY (B5/C5)

In this Premiere Episode of 80% Garage I tackle the replacement of the Audi Allroad's rubber upper control arm bushings with polyurethane bushings. The process should apply to all of the B5 and C5 chassis cars.
As this is my first video, the production quality isn't great but I hope that if you watch it you find it useful or at least entertaining.

how are the bushings? are they worth the money?

Good question. I bought these mainly because (you may know this)the OEM ones are bonded to the press-in sleeve and are meant to be installed at a specific angle so that you don't tear them. My B5 is lowered and was chewing these bushings up. The poly ones do not require any special angles and are not bonded to a sleeve so they were easier to install and solved my issues. For me, they are very much worth the money. For a stock vehicle, they may not be worth it.

@@80garage7 damn. I was trying to get it so I don’t have to keep changing the bushings on my b5.5 passat.

@@osmannabiyev7587 These have solved that issue for me. I think PowerFlex has even updated the street design a little bit to allow for the ride to stay closer to stock if you would prefer that.
