The zippier flap on the shift is where you can keep your phone (I do). When you fold it in unzip the bottom and bam, perfect spot for your phone

Good job and thanks for taking the time. Answered a couple questions I had about both bags. Take care!

Thanks for the review. I got my shift bag about 3 years ago. I just put my cell phone in the mini disc pocket at the top. It took some practice, but I can take it in and out while wearing the bag. Your phone might be a bit too big. I keep 5 discs per side, then two in each putter pocket (mine has 3) for a total of 16. I can carry more in the center, but like you said the access isn't as good. I am interested in getting a rebel so I have options depending on what is going on (space for misc stuff). The waist strap was the first thing I took off...

Check out the upper park pinch. Fits that inbetween of the two.

I thought the pinch was the smallest bag they offered. I know their new pinch bag seems significantly larger than older runs, but haven't had a chance to see the new ones.

@@codywaldron86 The pinch will hold around 30 discs depending on how many are thicker putters/approach discs, and more like 25 comfortably. (3 in putter pouch, 4 on each side, 2 in the front flap, and 20ish in the center depending on how much room is wanted for a drink/misc.). The shift does well with around 13ish (2-2-2-2 in the sides, and 3-1-1 in in the putter pouches, with plenty of center room for storage and the big drink holder.)

Another thing, I had the same issue of needing an in between size. I found it, the winner is the Pound Rufus. Carries as much stuff as the Rebel and 17-23 discs.

Same. The Pound Rufus has ended up being the bag for me. I love everything about it so far.

Can you do a squatch link vs rebel?

I don't have them both anymore, but would gladly give you my rundown on both.

The shift’s pouches inside suck and I cans only fit I think 8-9 discs in the sleeves. You can put extra discs underneath but then they get stuck under the last sleeve. Then the tongue gets stuck in the discs and last sleeve. It also leans to the left full. Needs side panel support. As soon as Fossa comes up with a skinny 3.0 I’m going back. I do love scaling down to only necessary discs and it’s the most comfortable bag I’ve worn.

I must be the only one that uses the cell phone pouch on the shit, right to the left of the water bottle holder in front of the discs

I've tried it, just doesn't seem to hold it as well as some of the others. I wish they made the hip pouches a little bit larger for phones.

I carry 28 discs for training with the shift😂 it easily fits 4 discs left and right outside. Belt pocket is key and other side a range finder fits. So more space as the rebel?

Where do you put your phone? That's my problem!

@@codywaldron86 the two zip pocket. I honestly have a small bag attached to the ring in the side for utilities and sunglasses.

@@JayDeeTee do you have the new version or older ones? I heard the new ones have bigger zipper pockets
