Found this song 10 years ago, and to this day, music doesn't hit me in the same way Uppermost's music does. I've been through way too much in the last decade, but one constant has always been his music, and how it's always been there. This was the first song I ever heard by him, and his music always manages to make me smile. For that, my gratitude knows no bounds. Here's to many more years 🎉

Why does this song give me such a painful feeling of nostalgia? I remember things that I wanted to forget because I never wanted to leave them in my past. It hurts to listen to this song but I can't stop... Maybe this pain is a good thing or maybe I deserve it for leaving all those memories, friends, schools and homes behind. I don't know why good memories have to hurt so bad. The pain won't leave and the happiness won't stay. I put a smile on my face and show it off. I've gotten so used to putting that fake smile on that I can make any situation and any feeling a feeling of happiness. Yet I can't help but be pained by this feeling. At least I can finally feel something. If this sounds depressing, I get why you would think so. But really this feeling just gives me another reason to smile.

I used to listen to this while I studied when I was in college. Which was about 5 years ago. Although it was a stressful time it was such a peaceful time. From time to time I come back to listen to this song and it does just that. It takes me to that peaceful place.

This song makes me feel really nostalgic. I don't know why... Maybe cos I'm going to be an adult soon and no longer a teenager. When I first heard this song, I was at the end of my middle school experience. I continued to listen to this song when I needed some comfort in high school and college. It brings back a lot of memories I took for granted, one of which was my cat shadow. She's no longer with me but it reminds me of the time I spent with her. I'm with everyone else on this that yes this song brings good memories. I definitely think it should be on Spotify!
