Christ found me in 1972 while I was reaping what I had sown; Enough said about my after life. The charismatic renewal was on. Our church was the charismatic center of the NW in Seattle. WE would gather Thursday nights at 7pm about 1500-2000 men women and children and we would stand to sing at 7 and before we knew it it was 9 or 10 o'clock. We had laughed, cried and worship our lord and savior you 2-3 hours. I feel so blessed to see this happening again and again. I will be 77 this year. I love when Jesus does those things and let's me know he is above everything and his timing is perfect. I’ve been reading through the book of Revelation with my Bible study and one of my favorite things has been listening to worship music and recognizing it’s roots in Scripture. As soon as I heard the first few lines I thought of Revelation. “After this I looked and behold a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and people and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:9-10 “The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sounds of rushing waters.” Revelation 1:14-15 “Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing wasters and like loud pearls of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb! And he added, “Those are the true words of God.” - Revelation 19:6-9 “From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumbling and pearls of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing.
