My father passed away when i was very young .He was very wealthy and we had 4 maids one houseboy 1 watchman a nd a chef.He treated each and everyone of them like family ..i wasnt allow to call them by their first names but uncle and auntie ..When my father passed away they wailed like babies ..They all left our home one by one after he passed and i learnt a valuable lesson from the way he related with them .Even the drug addicts i see on the street i stop to say hello and ask how they are doing .Lets treat everyone we meet with love and respect .

Thanks for sharing. So my father trained me. I grew up to see my father always in the mist of the poor. I ask him why? He said it's better to be in the mist of people and help. My mom said he was always with the deaf n dumb people. He gives light to the poor. In my grown up life I have not seen my self as better than another.

The way our people treat their workers break my heart. Just because he’s a driver doesn’t mean he won’t get break time or end of work/shift hour. His work hours have ended and so he has the right to go home and sleep wherever he wants. If you keep him, then be prepared to pay him extra hours or make him comfortable, that’s how employment works. I think if these domestic workers started charging per hour all these nonsense would stop. Imagine sleeping in a car overnight. I’ve slept in a car before and was miserable the whole night.

Contract or no contract, he should never have been ordered to sleep in the car. Thought he did not object to sleeping in the car, he did not want to. Did you observe his body language? Notice that the volume of his voice fell. He pulled his T-shirt upwards by the shoulder and let go. He was not expecting that. We should be kind to one another.

These are my thoughts. It seems that you’re implying that in order to avoid a situation like this is to make sure you are born economically privileged or raise yourself to that level. Im hearing he just needs to level up otherwise he would not have been in a position to experience this. I can stand to be corrected. Further, a driver is a honest occupation & should not be held in contempt. He met a need & his humanity should not be diminished because he is providing a service. I know you don’t want to judge her & I don’t either but he was inadvertently put in a position where he became unhoused while housing someone else. Suppose he said I can’t come tonight but I can pick him up in the morning then your sweet loved one would be stuck in an Airport unhoused as such he sacrificed his comfort for someone else. Surely there is a way to house him for the night without compromising the safety of your loved one. Peace and Love.🙏

This driver could have slept in the living room. Just provide a mattress so he can sleep on the floor. How can two people come from a trip and one person goes and sleeps in a plush bedroom and another one goes to sleep in a car? Is one person more human than the other? This is terrible. Do unto others as you would want to be treated. In each situation, put yourself in the other person’s situation: if you are treated that same way, would you be happy? In my opinion, no matter the contract that one signs, life is above every contract. People, we have to see the people who work for us as our family. If that is her brother, would she treat him like that? It is just so unfortunate o. May God Almighty help us

If the man was an independent truck driver he would sleep in his truck. It's part of the job. This has nothing to do with being rich or poor. Maybe there's no hotel nearby or a bq where he can sleep for a couple of hours before the day breaks. Drivers and house girls are killing their bosses these days. Sometimes people covet what doesn't belong to them when you are the richer party and you are way too open. Anybody that wants the driver to sleep in the house can get hi number so that the next time he is stranded at work he can call you for a room in your house. That way we know you are a good person. Let's stop judging Nancy when we don't know the full story.

The question is, how long has she known the driver? Also, safety is always the first priority. My opinion is to allow the driver to sleep on the couch just for a few hours.

This is the first time I disliked your video. Even when I did not agree I would like because I believe that you were being fair. You basically spoke like a politician. What of people that do not have kids or despite what they do the odds were so stacked up against them that they still end up in that driver’s position? Please…

We now wonder why hy so many of the domestic workers paid thx boss and the family. She could have still been human about it. Next time she should not send a person on errands that late most houses has BQ in them why did hers not have one in case of this situation.

Our people are very quickly in judging others, as am writing this today, a police siren woke us up because a man the neighbour gave a guest house was cought on camera necked in front his wife door. Me l have mansion but l have slept in a car before because the house owner said that he doesn't allow strangers in his house. Men don't have problems with where they sleep, clothes they wear, food they eat. Our own driver doesn't think that way, all he wants is his salaries and happiness ✍️

It's not "do well so your father doesn't end up as someone's driver"; NO. Its try and do better so you're not someone's driver in your old age, lets stop putting everything on our children's back. I am not responsible for you, you brought me here not the other way around. African parents need to shake this mentality off, stop burdening your children.

I do not agree with u on this one summer. Nancy didn’t treat that driver like a human being. U are fighting to make this your analysis so intelligent, but just can’t hold. Nancy’s family are people that just think about themselves, they have no feelings for other humans.

I have slept in my car on a number of occasions. I did instead of paying for hotel. If its just for one night? It's fine. It would not kill anyone. As long as the car is located in a safe place. I would have preferred for her to get him a hotel. But a car does not kill

Summer i really do not agree with you on this, irreapective of the fact that one is in a diaasvantaged position in life, does not warrantt hat one should treat his fellow man that way, nobody deserved to be treated rhat way, whether you work hard or not. like Jesus said there would always be the poor amongst us, and he still said wharsoever you do to the least of my brethren that you do unto me. Experience and life have made me understand that being poor in life may not be directly proportional to how hard one works. Especially in nigeria where the government have failed the common man and nothing works. Even losing a good paying job can make anyone poor. Illheath can also make one poor. You mentioned that sleeping in the car might be part of the man's terms of contract. What i saw in the video was a man that is oppressed and does not have a voice. I bleed watching that video, for all i see is the type of maltreation that is characterised by most Nigerian women . Please people treat people the way you want to be treated. I dont know who the Nancy is, but all i can see in the video is she is in the wrong, and i had expected that you called her out, and advised her on how to behave next time, or wouldnt have bothered making the video.

Normally I will not contribute to this conversation but I choose to because I see that you were not analyzing this your video very well you were saying that there are two father what is actually a father that the children could send someone to pick him from the airport and then the other father eats a father and then the other father is a domestic staff to the other father so what's your analyzation is is that you should work hard the people should work hard to make sure that their father does not end up as a driver but one thing you should know is that every person cannot be reached it is very important for you to treat your domestic staff as the same way you're going to treat yourself or someone who is like a father to you also to me that is the best way to treat people who have worked for you for so long

I don't understand. This is the second vidoe I'm commenting on this page in a quick succession with total disgust. What do you exactly mean by people should do well so that...😡. So if everyone becomes the rich/ the pickee who will now be the driver, cook and etc. Secondly are you saying that those who aren't that rich aren't working enough? Thought you are supposed to be seeing the situation of the country🤔. Lastly please don't subly encourage more harm/crime because its this mentality of I must be 'as rich' that pushes a lot of people to crime. Its ok to be driver too. I guess you used to be wiser than now.

It is also not nice that u said if de driver is doing well as a man he will not be in that position 😮 . The economy situation of Nigeria created employment opportunities for driver on like other countries abroad so u see even de president all over de world do have a driver
