@@uproxx the LOX are a legendary trio, each member is unique and maintain a great example of how to Emcee, how to carry on the legacy of mastering the ceremony as well as the art of storytelling. Slang, wisdom, masculinity that isn't toxic but self reflective. The LOX has what most in the game miss. Sheek has his own type of cadence and slang this uncommon and because of such most don't bridge that gap and that gives more mystique to style of Sheek. Sheek has a unique voice that makes you listen, his cadence of slang is like darts of old and new, like a new language but it's actually a combination of ancient tongues across the globe ans bringing it back to the hood to share with the community. Sheek has the ability to take the tongue of many cultures and make gumbo type lyrics to fill you up and when the verse is done you'll ask for seconds. Sheek deserves more recognition. Would be dope to see him and Raekwon the Chef together, or Cappadonna. Sheek is also very hilarious at times, incredible at giving contrast in his lyrics! Taking you from dark to light back to dark to the light. True artists. Each member of the LOX is amazing in their own and together are true legends that will last forever. They deserve to be studied. Thanks for the career of greatness for us all to study and of course be entertained. Salute!

I truly believe the greatest rappers have 3 technical factors that are key to making them iconic in the rap fraternity..Charisma, Cadence and Content..basically its sonic energy..that the listener connects to even if the dont speak the language... Sheek louche had bags of Charisma and could have been one of the GOATS if he honed it...his natural vocal ability was dope..had a freedom in how he rapped that if honed would have made him stellar... He is one of the rappers whose verses i enjoy listening to. Says some crazy stuff lol
