What’s a great ski year becomes a hard CDT hike. I am headed out to ski in Colorado the end of February and I hope they have a massive snow year but then I am returning in the end of August to hike the Colorado Trial. It should be nice and clear by then. That most certainly looks like a slog. You’re getting it. Thanks for sharing

Wow, beautiful. It's sure an adventure with so much snow. At 11:15 you can see where someone came down the Unicorn (peak on the right) on a snowboard.

Was just talking with another hiker about that section. We're saying most skipped or flipped, but we haven't heard of anyone getting too badly injured or falls

BEER MONEY! I didn't know you had an f'n youtube channel dude lol. Thanks for helping to relive this Chama to Pagosa stretch!!! I still remember when you tried to go up and over the mountain to avoid that crazy traverse but we did it anyway. Happy I was able to get those rad pictures of you while you were practically shitting your pants hahahaha. Love you brother, till next time. -Diehard

Haha, I kept it pretty quiet as the general vibe to KZbinrs was disdain. I remember telling you at one point , think at that brewery early on. I watched that episode back last weekend, good times Leanne Rimes ! Thanks for guiding me through. That cover photo was the sketchiest part of the entire trail , apart from a couple of thunderstorms at night where I was pretty certain I was going to die

I hiked the CDT 2 years ago and entered Colorado right around the same time as you did. There is way more snow now than when I hiked it. Hopefully the snow melts quickly and not too much snow left after you get through Creed. Good luck with your hike and thanks for sharing.

That really was hard slog, give me the beach and burning sand any day over snow and ice, hate it. You did well to get in all in one piece. Thanks for video.

Over snow!

Wonderful trek vlog - thank you! Just one meant-to-be-constructive comment: If you can limit or slow down the panning it might prevent some viewers (like moi) from getting motion sickness. I watched 5-6 in a row last evening and was super nauseated at the end so had to pause the video and advance with the left arrow on my computer thereby giving snapshots instead of motion video. The scenery is fantastic!

Yep no worries I'll try and slow it down , sorry for the nausea! You might have to wait until after the next video but ( after creede)

wow, I hiked through this section almost the exact same time last year. You got way more snow, it looks like a completely different hike.

Wasn't far off mountaineering Waldo. You still would have got through it in about a day!

Great to see you taking the Crede Cutoff. That looked very sketchy and dangerous. Safe travels.
