Nia recently having double knee surgery kind of backs up your theory. Being of a larger body type isn't the problem, being a larger person who is not athletic enough to compete at the level that she needs to in the industry is. I remember her gauntlet match a while back and she probably spent at least half of it lying outside of the ring for 8 and 9 counts it sucked.

Too many women fighting over two belts and a set of tag belts? The Iiconics and Bliss/Cross are the only women's tag teams that have challenged for the women's tag titles so if anything they need to just get rid of the damned things if they're not going to have any other teams to challenge for them. And on Raw currently you have Asuka, Shayna Bazler and Nia Jax who are legitimate contenders for the Raw women's championship. On SD you've got Nikki Cross, maybe Alexa Bliss and the rest are pretty much mid card talent involved in non-title feuds with each other. You want them to add another title when they already don't have many women actually challenging for the titles that they already have? It's like giving out participation trophies for professional sports teams because "too many teams compete for the league championship".

Asuka losing her championship via count-out should get at least 2-3 downs or a brown down. Asuka's reign as Raw's women's champion was too short and only saw Asuka defend the the title successfully against Charlotte on Raw. Asuka couldn't beat Nia Jax and that match ended in a count-out too, and After Sasha and Bayley cheated at Extreme Rules, Sasha Banks didn't deserve another rematch for the Raw women's championship! Down! Down! Down! Brown Down! Asuka deserves so much better, and maybe she should just leave WWE and Go back to Japan with Kairi Sane!

I'm still not sure why Asuka was essentially stripped of the title after the finish at Extreme Rules. Bayley obviously wasn't a referee and when there is not a legit finish in a championship match the champion retains the title. Even if Asuka got disqualified barring any special stipulations she still retains the title. Also this booking sets a bad precedent because in any championship match the challenger just needs to incapacitate the referee, then have a friend available to count the pin to get the champion stripped of the title. Then just get the former champion counted out in the rematch and BOOM they're the new champion.
