UPS is the worst of the delivery companies. I've had delivery problems about 20% of the time with UPS when delivering to my job sites. The UPS driver only cares about getting a signature and doesn't care if it is the right one or even a correct name. FedEx has failed me once even though I use them about 4 times as much.

My best friend used to work in a UPS warehouse in PA stocking the truck trailers with packages. He said they were literally told by their supervisor to throw the packages into the truck no matter what the packages said on them (fragile etc) or felt like. If you didn't get them loaded fast enough, you were fired. The only way to load them fast enough was to throw the boxes in.

I've seen some of your un-boxings, specifically the Intercooler and I wasn't the least bit surprised the package arrived in the condition it was in. That's the reason I quit using ups years ago. Too many project deadlines screwed up because of lost or damaged packages. Never had an issue with DHL or FedEx. I make it a point to make sure my vendors don't use UPS, I pay extra if necessary. Good luck brother, hope you get it figured out.

I work for the Knoxville,Tennessee UPS. I will call my managers to see if that packages is here or some where even has been threw here. (The UPS is the biggest one I know of in Tennessee so I will check the details for that box) Update: (just at my facility) it says for us, it's in the middle of an "inspection" which usually means it's having trouble going threw clearance. But others could be different at certain facilities. Inspection for us just means we can't ship it out of our location but it would be shipped to another.

Things will work out Rob, we know you'll get this masterpiece running if not ready to slay tires before Sema. My high school FIRST robotics team back in 2016 had 2 (fairly large and essential springs) lost by UPS at the last moment in robot build season. It was our first year actually making it to our state finals, we ended up placing well within the top 5% of the global teams at the world championship competition.

Had a similar experience (although not as expensive and frustrating) when I ordered a flatscreen and it was delivered by the Norwegian postal service. It only took 3 weeks.... to travel 37 miles from the nearest town to where I live. But to be fair, by then it had traveled all across the county and been sent in return, without me being informed. And the kicker was when it was finally delivered. I took it out of the box and saw the glass shards all over the floor. I bought a demo flatscreen at a lower price, so the shop couldn't offer me a new one for the same prize. Luckily I got a refund and I ended up buying another flatscreen that also had been used as a demo , but this time I could pick it up myself. So it arrived in one piece and I still have it 6 years later.

I had to get a tailgate for my 71 C10 that ups was the shipper. I live in a rural part of the country. But my tailgate didn't go anywhere for about a week once out was at the hub facility. Many calls later found out that they wouldn't ship it to me because the package was too large. Never bothered to tell me. Then I asked if I could get it(4hr drive) and they said they don't have it and they gave it to some other freight company. Called the other company and they didn't have it. Turns out ups had it the whole time. Box was badly damaged but luckily the tailgate wasn't. In sort, ups just sucks through and through

If you want it found you need to post either the company who shipped it or their location so that the package can be tracked through the UPS routes from intake to vanishing point. You have UPS workers watching.

I will say this an I have firsthand knowledge about it I sorted in Jacksonville Florida I believe called PD16 were we sorted for the southwestern side of the state, punta gorda, ft. Meyers, port Charlotte, etc. We also sorted some for another hub crazytown.... but ups does not have a quality control concern when that package comes down the line to the sort then to then trucks. It's all about maximizing the trailer and get it out in a ridiculous time frame. You build the wall out and throw as much behind it as quickly as you can while crap is falling from the rollers under your feet. Shit gets stepped on kicked thrown because the guys in the truck are under paid under manned. They dont get paid to care they get paid to load trucks. ..Oh titleist golf clubs I would stop using ups because those triangle boxes get thrown into were even fyi... so I say this I'm not surprised and please finish this car im excited an cant wait for the finished product. The hoonigans brought me here an I'm hooked brother...

I used to work at UPS as a kid. I loaded a bulk stop at the end of the belt. When stuff slipped by others further up the belt. We didn't care. We would call out an address and when we heard a YO! We would toss the package in that direction. It was a known practice and the term that was tossed around was "don't worry about it. They have insurance. Yeah, they don't care.

Keep it up. Do not let it pull you down. UPS sucks even here in the Netherlands. When you order a package from abroad they always charge customs and VAT even if the package was not checked by the Dutch customs.
