It will also increase wages for full and part-time workers. Abe Eshkenazi, CEO of the Association for Supply Chain Management, joined CBS News to discuss.

This contract changes nothing.. I’m a part timer at ups and they’ve been giving us $23/hr awhile now because of that bonus incentive pay they’ve been giving. Still waiting on a full time spot. Good to know I’ll still be receiving food stamps since pay is the same…

No ac in the buildings No scheduled hours for most As I found out, even with 25 years you can't retire and take your healthcare til your 55. New hires can still get bonuses Only people who won as always is the full time driver. Even the full timers the building got stuffed

There's higher penalties for harrasment as well as a more defined streamlined greivance procedure for that. Combating management abuse is honestly based on how strong the membership are, not allowing harassment and showing strength in union involment and procedures. I can tell you our building doesn't let that happen, speak up and stay strong

Soooo.. new hires here get a $3 raise and existing employees get 2.5. That means someone thats been there 13 years gets around 1.5-2.50 more than a new hire. Drivers get ac, their wages go up dramatically Keep in mind a part timer gets half the pension of a full timer. So what i got was. Full timers got everything they wanted, and part timers got shafed so hard, it felt like an amateur getting plowed by an adult star. Hard pass, that will be a big ol NOPE for my vote.

I started 12 years ago at $8.50 an hour. My sympathy runs low for the part timers wanting $30 starting pay. Part time work at UPS was always about the benefits. Free healthcare, retirement pension, paid time off, and opportunity for career advancement in driving or management. Now you get a more respectable $21 an hour plus all the benefits I listed. If you don’t like it then become a driver or get yourself another part time job.

Don’t insult me with a congratulation! Sentencing me to 5 more years of grinding just to barely survive is not rewarding at all! This new pay structure is making me more poor than I was 5 years ago with ups. (Pay vs cost of living is the equation) Is mid $40’s a good wage, sure it is for an economy that isn’t built on price gouging, money hungry businesses, and corrupt governments. This pay increase doesn’t reward you for your years of service. It doesn’t show any kind of appreciation. It doesn’t compensate for the rise of inflation. It doesn’t put money in the savings. And it certainly doesn’t make you happy! We gain nothing! All it does is it allows you to make just enough to make it back for another shift! That’s just what these greedy people want! I believed in o brien. But he fooled us. He is bought by ups! He’s not in it for the people. Just himself and the non working elites!
